I read another 165 pages of What Was Mine, and should be finishing it off tomorrow. I didn't notice any new games today.

Sorry, Rachel! My day yesterday was packed and I forgot to post a game. I plan on posting two today to make up for it!

Still reading This Land is My Land: A Graphic History of Big Dreams, Micronations, and Other Self-Made States and Envious Casca.Happy holidays, everyone!

Merry Christmas Eve, if you are celebrating! I am still plugging away on both my audio and paper books.

I just finished This Land is My Land: A Graphic History of Big Dreams, Micronations, and Other Self-Made States which works for a book with a letter. On to Silver Level!
Whew! You all are amazing! I got a lot of reading done on my road trip back, planned to finish today, but shopping, baking, and wrapping got the better of me.I wish everyone a merry Christmas (or any holiday you may celebrate).
I finished off What Was Mine, and also read Little Girls because I mistakenly thought I needed it for a challenge prompt. I didn't, but at least managed to squeeze it in somewhere else. I also read 157 pages of Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic, and participated in today's game.

Just finished up Middlesex! Gonna move on to The Dinner a little bit tonight before getting to bed. I hope everyone is having a great holiday! :)

      Great job, Team Twinkle Lights!

You're free to move on to Silver Level! I've updated your spreadsheet so you only see Silver and Gold left.

Good job Twinklers!Sorry I haven't posted for a while, but I did read the messages! Been busy with work and holiday stuff. Hope to finish Invisible Man today. It's almost 600 pages!
I also started an audiobook of House at Pooh Corner. Yes, it's a kid's book, but 180 page/ 3 hours audio.

I haven't joined a team yet but I just finished my first book of the Read-A-Thon (Pachinko) and I want to record it somewhere haha! So I've added it to the spreadsheet for a book centered around family.

I (finally) finished Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison. On my phone so I can't add to spreadsheet, but I will when I get back home unless someone beats me to it!

I'm terrible with spreadsheets, so I'm a bit confused. I haven't entered any of the books that I read in yet because I saw others already had marked books in progress for the same prompts. If someone already has a book in progress, what should I do with books I finished that might work toward that prompt?

I only have a tablet & phone, so it isn't letting me update the spreadsheet. I have finished Dear Edward. From what I see that is open on the Silver level, it would fit either book I would give as a gift or free space. I will probably only be able to contribute 2, so I am hoping it fits in a spot!
I hope everyone had a great day today. I will look for something to fit for Gold level.

I would say that if you finish a book, it takes precedence over an "in progress" book. So slot it in any prompt that doesn't have a completed book in it. The people who have in progress books can move them to a different prompt or hold out until the next level!
Kelly, I was going to read Dear Edward for my "published in 2019" book, but I looked at the copyright page and the date is 2020! I'm bummed because I hoped to read it soon, but finishing my challenge comes first... guess I'll wait until January to get to it!

Rachel- do your books count for any prompt that aren't filled in? Is the same book listed for multiple prompts? If so, just erase and add yours. If not, tell us what prompt and maybe someone else can move their book.
Kelly- I updated the spreadsheet for you. I used the gift category to leave free read for anyone that needs it!

Thanks Kathy Jo!!Emily- I know we have some similar tastes in books- you are going to love it. BOTM let us have that one early. Today was the perfect day to finish it. It makes you feel blessed for who is around you.
By all means, claim a spot when you finish! I finally completed The Starless Sea - it was great! Started a shorter book,

, so I should figure out where it might fit.

MKay wrote: "Just finished How to Make an American Quilt."MKay, I notice this wasn't on the spreadsheet so I added for Free Read.
Kathy wrote: "Rachel wrote: "I finished off What Was Mine, and also read Little Girls because I mistakenly thought I needed it for a challenge prompt. I didn't, but at least manag..."I've put them in myself for now, hopefully in the right places.
Today, I finished off Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic and read all of Are You My Mother? A Comic Drama (which took ages!). I also started reading Behind Closed Doors. I haven't been on the board much today but I just saw there are two games for me to catch up on tomorrow, so hopefully I'll remember to get to those in the morning!
Rachel, I moved What Was Mine to the Free Read since we can't start the Gold Level till we're done with the Silver.I finished This Woman's Work which doesn't fit in Silver Level so I'll wait to add when we're finished.

Thank you. I couldn't see if it had been added to the previous level. Trying to decide on the next book.

Oh, fair enough. I thought I could still mark it down for later, but I guess that doesn't really make sense.
Looks good to me, Devin. Are you working on a book with fruit on the cover with Royal Holiday? I'll choose my next book for the gold level, if so.

And we are DONE with the silver level. As Devin suggested, I moved Royal Holiday to fruit and slotted in A Treasury of African-American Christmas Stories which I finished this morning in the Christmas category. On to gold Team Twinkle Lights!
Whooo! I finished This Is How You Lose the Time War this morning, and should be able to fit it into the gold round.

It is 8 pm and I am finally able to start reading. But I'm tired, so don't know how far I will get! Thank goodness one more day to work, then the weekend!

You guys are awesome! I've been too busy the last couple days to check in but I've started The Red House Mystery. I'll probably have more time to read in the next couple days.

I just finished Behind Closed Doors. Too late at night for me to look at the spreadsheet now, but feel free to add it whereever needed.

Way to go on getting to Gold Level everyone! Just finished The Dinner which had 310 pages so I put it in the prompt for having a 0 in the page count. On to Love's Labor's Lost

Just finished up Love's Labor's Lost for a book that is not a novel. Moving on to The Keeper of Lost Things

I flew through 75% of Midnight at the Bright Ideas Bookstore today, expecting to finish it off tomorrow.

Just finished The Red House Mystery and added it to the spreadsheet. Higly recommend to anyone who enjoys classic locked room mysteries.

I finished Tears of the Giraffe and added to spreadsheet as free read. Would also work for plant on cover, dog/cat/fish, person with disability, the king, or 7+ letters if it needs to be moved around!

Hey team, sorry I have been MIA my holidays turned out to be much more crazy than I expected. Mom broke her foot, dog ate my reading glasses, I drank too much wine, the good reads app wasn't working for me... In any case sorry not to have contributed. I decided to DNF The Party it was just not grabbing my attention. I finished the Wedding Date and added to spreadsheet for book with snack as there is a cupcake on the cover.
