Ahh, I hate it when that happens. Sorry you're not enjoying it as much. A sophomore slump, maybe?

Maybe Veronica. I think it's partly I'm finding the battle scenes kind of glossed over and it feels a bit like nothing has really happened. I'm over 50% now and just expected more action I guess.

I read her Sweep series a long time ago, and enjoyed it then.
This is only a short series (4 books) I want to read the whole series this year, might even binge read the series.

I finished the first book on Friday and read the other three books this weekend :)
I enjoyed this YA series, although the ending could have been better.

I finished listening to Lost Light and have moved straight into The Poet (I already miss Harry!). I finished reading The Final Seven - and am not sure how I feel about it, but will read book two. It reminded me of Maggie Shayne's Brown and De Luca series but not as good.

I finished listening to The Poet and I rated it as a 3.5 (rounded down to a three). I liked the plot and Rachel Wallings, but I am not a huge fan of Jack. I also found the book a bit too long...though that may be because I figured out what was going on sooner. I will be listening to Bad Luck and Trouble (Book 11) by Lee Child. This is a series I want to catch up by the end of the next year.

I am not sure what I will read next...

I just finished which was a good ya fantasy.

I hope you're on hold for the audiobook because Robert Petkoff narrates this story and he's about the best out there.
