Book #2 in a great cozy series Body on the Bayou
by Ellen Byron.My Review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I am almost finished book 2 - Wake the Devil by Robert Daniels. Work has been a bit busy lately so I have not been reading as much. I am listening to two standalone audiobooks Rubbernecker and The Boston Girl.
I finished
and completed the series. So glad to have finally finished one this year.I'm now onto
(The Dresden Files #4)

Lordy, I just started Christine Feehan's Leopard People's series. What am I doing starting a new series? Luckily.
is very lush, even if it is a bit too detailed.
I finished Her Darkest Nightmare by Brenda Novak, Evelyn Talbot Chronicles #1, and here's my review.
I'm now reading Hotwire by Alex Kava, Maggie O'Dell #9.

I'm very excited as I'm about to start Home by Harlan Coben (book 11 in the Myron Bolitar series). It's been a long time Myron!
Aw, I'm jealous. I'm trying to wait and see if the audiobook shows up in the library. Otherwise, I'm using an Audible credit for it next month.
I was first on the list for the book, but since I don't have to review this one I may just wait for audio...as I did the rest of them on audio. Enjoy, Tracey!
So I'm reading
and just realized that the next book in the series is in the 1st person. I will have to get it on audio.
For anyone who has read ahead, is this the only book in the 1st person or are there others?

Yes I highlighted the change to first person here (message 40):https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I also found it odd and there's a link to an article where Connelly talks about it. I have got used to the first person.
Duh! We discussed this in May! I even included the link in the first message on the series page because I knew I'd forget:)
I finished listening to City of Bones by Michael Connelly, Harry Bosch Universe #9, and here's my review.
I'm now listening to For a Few Demons More by Kim Harrison, The Hollows #5 and my buddy read with Lauren.

I read somewhere that the books in which Harry is (view spoiler) are in the 1st person and those in which he is a (view spoiler) are 3rd person. It seems strange to me though.

I can confirm that :-) Click on the spoiler if you want to know when it is first person and when it is third person. (view spoiler)
I finished Hotwire by Alex Kava, Maggie O'Dell #9, and here's my review. I continue to struggle with this series.
I'm now reading Avarice by Lisa Clark O'Neill, Southern Comfort #.6. I know I'm going to love it.

. I've already read book 4 and I'm planning to read the whole series. Now reading
Hoping I'll enjoy it as it's my first Jennifer Ashley book.
I finished
#1 in Wedding Belles series. I enjoyed it and will definitely continue. It was about 25 pages too short though, would have liked more details in the resolution of some plot points. Ended too neatly. Starting another new series
.

I was a bit harsh in my review. I had no idea it would be a series, let alone end with a cliffhanger. I'd gotten it from the publisher for review.
