What series are you reading?
Jonetta wrote: "Well, looks like the book I'm listening to is Dick Hill's last. I went through the rest of the series and Len and Peter Giles narrate the series until the last three. The really great news is Titus..."I've watched both seasons and love Titus Welliver. His voice is like but-ta.

Did you like the show, what you saw of it anyway?"
I watched the first 2 episodes and enjoyed them a lot. However, once I realized the cases were ones that I hadn't read yet, I stopped because I didn't want to risk spoilers for the books.
As far as I know, the plots of the books are not connected. Its possible that they created links for the show that are not in the books.

This seems like a motivation finish the Bosch series so I can watch the show! I do have
on my list to read this month. I finished
which was another cute romance by Lauren Layne. She is one of my favorite authors to go for comfort reading. Another comfort reading when it comes to mystery is
which is the 9th in the series and I finished that recently as well. I'm going to start
today.
Sounds good, Lauren.Meera wrote: "This seems like a motivation finish the Bosch series so I can watch the show! I do have

Before I get down to the serious business of the May book discussions, I decided to read the Ruth Galloway book next in line for my tbr:
. It was a solid 4 stars for me.
Gabrielle wrote: "How are you liking the harry bosch series so far "I'm loving the series Gabrielle... all books so far have been 4 and 5 stars for me.
Jonetta... I'm reading. I thought about listening when you told me how much you like the narrator, but he changes. I've listened to a sample of the narrator for this book and I wasn't impressed so I'll continue to read which I am enjoying very much.

I'll let you know whether or not going the distance makes a difference when I listen to the next book. *sigh*

Me too dick hill is great
I started What Remains of Heaven
last night and I'm eyeing Harry Bosch #2 for afterwards. The Sebastian St Cyr book is a reread for me and it annoys me that GR doesn't have a system in place for marking rereads without removing the book from the year it was originally read.
The reread issue is one that crops up frequently in the Goodreads Feedback group.
Some pick another edition to use for rereads.

I used to do that too but now I just don't bother. It feels too cluttered somehow. Oh well, it is what it is. :-/
Yeah, I know. Not sure why this is a big technical deal for GR. I've only reread one series (In Death) and it was before I joined the site.

Agreed. Picking another edition is not a solution. It skews the total of number of books read :0(
Considering that Shelfari had this function, GR really needs to find a way to incorporate it.

I can't believe the month is half over and I've only finished two books.I read
Taking the Heat by Kathryn Shay. This book tackles what happens to a relationship when one person works a dangerous job.My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I also read
Into the Night by Suzanne Brockmann. This is a good continuation of the Troubleshooter series, but not my favorite. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I'm reading Thigh High
(#3 in the Fortune Hunter series) by Christina Dodd and getting ready to start Hide from Evil
(#2 in the Dead Wrong series) by Jami Alden.
