What series are you reading?
I'm reading
. I'm not big on NA, haven't read much of it actually, but I'm really enjoying this one so far.
Striker was 5 stars for me Jonetta... I'm sure The Rock will be just as good. I love this series and can't wait for the next book in June.
I finished reading the sixth Temperance Brennan book, by Kathy Reichs:
.The writing is elegant, if informal. It's definitely informative and very educated writing, which one would expect of a forensic story.
The descriptions are succinct and brilliant; the humor is wonderful!
I just hope Tempe doesn't continue to find herself in dangerous situations because of TSTL episodes. Ryan came to visit in North Carolina, and I really think I like him a lot. Might invite him to the tent....hmmm.
Mary wrote: "I am now reading The Crystal Cave"That brings back memories. I read the first two when they weren't that new, but before the third one came out, and I read that one, too. Shortly after that I stopped reading her, I think.
I finished You by Caroline Kepnes, You #1, and, while disturbing, found it really good. Here's my review.
I'm now reading A Reckless Desire by Isabella Bradford, Breconridge Brothers #3.

I finished listening to Blood Kiss by J.R. Ward, Black Dagger Legacy #1, and enjoyed the story. It's a good start and here's my review.
I'm now listening to When Gods Die by C.S. Harris, Sebastian St. Cyr #2.

I am loving
right now. I've been hoarding this series for a long time and it is exceeding my expectations.

I have as well!
I am listening to Fallen (Will Trent #5) by Karin Slaughter and I cannot turn it off. This is a good one in the series. I am reading Surrender to the Devil (Scoundrels of St. James #3) by Lorraine Heath and loving this one as well. I am also reading another book, which I never have three going at the same time. It's called 44 Chapters About 4 Men: A Memoir by BB Easton. I just decided to read the first bit, and immediately got sucked in. I cannot stop laughing while reading this, and it's well written, too. I have no idea who this author is, but she is hilarious, irreverent, and a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend this to anyone that enjoys the humor of past/present relationships (and a bit of pretty darn steamy interludes).

How did you discover the Easton book? (So not surprised about Fallen:))

Jonetta wrote: "How did you discover the Easton book?"Colleen Hoover mentioned it on Facebook yesterday, and then I remembered reading a small excerpt from it somewhere online. So I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. It's pretty good.

Im excited about this one! Heard good things about it but heard it was horrifying..."
A great series. I loved all the books and am sad there hasn't been anything new.
I finished my reread of Glory in Death (Book 2) and now on to my reread of A Great and Terrible Beauty (Book 1)- both on audio.
I read Once Shadows Fall (Book 1) bby Robert Daniels and loved it! I would recommend this to fans of Karin Slaughter as I walked away with the same feeling when I read Blindsighted...and having to wait for book 2.

The author seems to have gone to ground. No updates to his website or anywhere on social media.

I am loving Shadow Man It is sad to say that this was a discussion in another group, they said that the author has moved to another country and that book 5 is going to be written by another author, that the author has chosen to write it! I dont think anyone can take the place of this author.
I know he moved to Germany and actually published another book but only in German. He's been incognito ever since.
Ive heard that the 5th book is in the works right now which is the one written in German, so the other author that he has chosen is probably translating translating it!

This is a very strange story - why would a native speaker of English write a book in a different language and then have someone translate it into English for him?

I finished
. I loved this. Very fast paced, exciting. Read like a movie. I feel a binge read is in order but I have some library books due I need to read first, unfortunately.

This series has been sitting on my shelf for awhile. Guess I need to bump it up.

I'm interested in a series that involves both a male and female investigators/police/government agents/etc. who have a touch of romantic attraction or where the romance blooms over time - not a romance series per se, more of crime fiction with a romantic element on the side. Any recommendations?

Highly recommend the novella. The characters in that story don't really show up in #1 but will later. It's important later in the series but particularly for one of the characters throughout the series.

It's PNR, but I thought it was super smart with complex world building.
I've had it on my TBR list, Sunny. I could've sworn I had the first book somewhere but I was looking for it late last year and couldn't find it. I'm sure the minute I re-purchase it it will turn up.

Yes, there is romance in them, but it doesn't take over the stories, especially in the Disillusionists series.
