This one isn't my favorite (it's up there though), but it does have two of my favorite characters. I love Trevillion and Phoebe.

Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) | 2447 comments I completed End Game by Tess Diamond and enjoyed the series. I am going back to finish Patricia Wentworth's The Case of William Smith.

They are definitely two of my favorite characters in this series. I wish the author would work on her suspense/mystery portion of these books. They seem a little too obvious for lack of a better word. I would like to be surprised sometime.

I have the first three books of the Too Far series but am leery to start because she's got so much strange inter connectivity with multiple series. A good friend of mine loves the series.

I finished Anything for You by Kristan Higgins, Blue Heron #5, and absolutely loved it. Not an easy story, though. Here's my review.

I also finished listening to The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith, Cormoran Strike #2, and hated for it to end. Here's my review.

I'm now reading Welcome to Forever by Annie Rains, Hero's Welcome #1, and listening to Fallen by Karin Slaughter, Will Trent #4 (already hooked).

I am so excited to get back to the Blue Heron series. I didn't expect it to be an easy story since Jessica did not have an easy life. So I'm glad Higgins is going there!

I also started a new series (I've definitely started more new series than finished/caught up on current series :-D).
The first book is Status Update (#gaymers, #1) by Annabeth Albert Status Update by Annabeth Albert and it's part of the #gaymers series (which makes me giggle every time I see it :)). It was really good. A really sweet, emotional romance and there may have been some tears shed. Can't wait for the next one (in May 2016!! Ack!!).

Melissa (melissasd) | 1610 comments I finished reading Legend by Marie Lu. It took me awhile to read this one because I was afraid it would be just another teen distopia story. I was pleasantly surprised. Although the characters seem to go through the same trials as many in other books, they are unique in their on ways. The concept of the Republic and the way they rule is also unique. Day is a great character who will surprise you with his wisdom and caring. June is a bit stiff, but comes around. You end up feeling just as much compassion for her as you do Day. Some of the plot is predictable, but the last few chapters had me captivated. As always, there are some sad and shocking parts. I'm looking forward to moving onto the next book in this trilogy.

I am now starting Wicked Charms by Janet Evanovich.

Yes, it did. But, I've got 5 credits hanging out there. I think I'm going to suspend my account in 2016 as I find I'm not needing it so much. Between my library and publisher requests, I'm finding everything I need.

I've got the first book in this series on my out of control TBR pile. Are you enjoying it? Reading or listening? I loved her book Beauty Queens (if you haven't read it yet, I recommend the audio. Libba Bray narrates it and it's HILARIOUS!) but haven't read anything else by her.
