What series are you reading?

Pretty much what most people have said that it is not as good as her other novels. What about you, Tracey?
I agree, I didn't think it was as good. I went on to read 4 more in the series and now I'm having a break.
I'm a bit behind in my postings and will include reviews later.
I finished Cold Moon by Alexandra Sokoloff, The Huntress/FBI #3. It was much creepier than the previous two but equally as interesting. The story doesn't seem to end yet.
I also finished reading Heat Exchange by Shannon Stacey, Boston Fire #1, and liked it a lot. I'm looking forward to continuing the series.
I'm now reading the long-awaited Brown-Eyed Girl by Lisa Kleypas, Travis Family #4! Please note that the book description has changed from that released last year. The main character, Avery Crosslin, was originally a fashion designer. She's now a wedding planner.

Finished
and enjoyed it much more than I expected to after reading some less than stellar reviews.
This is the end of the series and I'm going to miss the Smythe-Smiths :0(

How did you get BEG? Is it an advanced copy? I'm so jealous! :)

I always forget about this series! I loved the Bridgertons. I should really try out the Smythe-Smith books.

It showed up on NetGalley and I immediately requested it. I'm just about done and am loving it.

I finished Brown-Eyed Girl by Lisa Kleypas, Travis Family #4, and it was worth the wait. I really enjoyed the story.
I'm now reading Against the Dark by Carolyn Crane, Associates #1.

I'm doing a terrible job updating about what I'm reading right now! In July I read:Fireflies and Magnolias by Ava Miles - I liked it better than the last book in the series. I enjoyed the romance between Amelia and Clayton and the storyline surrounding domestic abuse. Again, the family dynamics were a bit too sickly sweet for me but it was well balanced with other plot points so just a minor nuisance :).
Seduced by Molly O'Keefe - I really enjoyed this one. My only complaint was that it was a bit too short.
Somebody to Love by Kristan Higgins - this was a re-read for me that I listened to on audio this time around. Loved it just as much!

Erin, did you see that the sequel to Seduced is out?
. I agree, too short. But I love Molly O'Keefe's work. Her next one coming out in the Fall,
is, for me, her best work yet. I loved it.
I'm doing a terrible job too of keeping up to date on Goodreads! Erin is not alone :-)I finished reading the Toni Anderson series, Cold justice, and really liked it.
I finally, after a several year hiatus, went back to the Sookie Stackhouse series and finished them all. The break from the characters helped me gain perspective so I enjoyed the final books quite a bit. I don't know when I will get around to reviews. My kids are off school and it seems like the only time they are not tying up all the computers in the house is the middle of the night!

I did see that it is out. I actually grabbed it. I'm excited for this story! This was my first Molly O'Keefe but I'm excited to read more by her.

While I'm here...
I'm on a road trip, listening to two books (one while my niece sleeps). We're listening to The Lost Girls: The True Story of the Cleveland Abductions and the Incredible Rescue of Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry, and Gina DeJesus by John Glatt, that truly awful story. It's riveting and we couldn't believe our trip was over as we were caught up in the story.
I'm listening to Manwhore +1 by Katy Evans when my niece drops off:) Got about ten minutes in so far:)

Oh! Finished Gone Missing by Linda Castillo, Kate Burkholder #4. Enjoyed it but was happy with all the unresolved issues. 4 stars.

Do you have a series in particular by O'Keefe that you would recommend, Jonetta?
This week I read
Sizzle All Day by Geralyn Dawson. It was a cute addition to the "Bad Luck" series. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Today I finished
Broken by Karin Slaughter. Totally loved this book and could not put it down.My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I started with her Crooked Creek series, though I was lukewarm about the first book. The last book in the series is in my top ten list of all time favorites.
Her Boys of Bishop series is extraordinary. Her main characters have weight and tough issues to address. These are not your traditional contemporary romances, which is why I love her stories.

Just returning the favor! I've a nice little stack of Sunny recommended books under my belt:)

Thanks, Jonetta, for your list of recommendations to Erin. I've just requested several O'Keefe books from our public library system, both local and state (where local didn't have them).

Today I read
Cover Me by Stephanie Bond. This is a cute contemporary romance with some very funny scenes. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I just read the first book in Sabrina Jeffries' new series, Sinful Suitors:
.I really enjoyed reading this and look forward to the second book, which won't come out until next Spring.

I've never read Sabrina Jeffries though I think I've got a couple of her books on my shelf.

I finished Against the Dark by Carolyn Crane, The Associates #1, and really liked the author's style in crafting this style story. It was also a Kindle freebie! Here's my review.
I also finished listening to Manwhore +1 by Katy Evans, Manwhore #2. This is a case where two books were unnecessary and the story could have been told in one. Here's my review.
I'm now reading If You Only Knew by Kristan Higgins and listening to The Secret Sister by Brenda Novak.

I love Sabrina Jeffries' Hellions of Halstead Hall series. Have you read it? If so, how does it compare to this one?
Robin,I've read Hellions, School for Heiresses, and The Duke's Men series: I've given almost every book of Sabrina Jeffries 4-star ratings, which is high for me, since I almost never give 5 stars.
I cannot compare because my memory is Swiss cheese, but I do remember that I really liked the Duke's Men series, which would be helpful, but not necessary, to read before this newest book. Some of the characters reappear, but the plot does not hinge on them.
If you liked one series by this author, I'd highly recommend you try this one!
Thanks, Charlene. I know I have some of The Duke's Men series in my TBR pile. Will have to see what books I need to pick up.
I've just finished the first book in Laura Griffin's Tracers series,
.I really liked it and have the second book also from the local public library. I may just have to read it next. As I wrote in my review, I know I've met Mia at the Delphi Center before: I just don't know whether I've read something out of order of if I've actually read this book before.
Well, the advantage of having fibro fog is that I sometimes enjoy a book more than once as if it's a totally new book;)

You're not in a fog! It's my understanding that these characters appear first in the Glass Sisters series.

Charlene, this is a great series and like Jonetta mentioned, the Glass Sisters is worth checking out. It's all in the same 'world'.
Sorry I should have checked in with you, Jonetta. I downloaded it and was doing my usual check to make sure it was all good and of course the prologue caught my attention lol. It picks up right where the last book ended so it's very exciting from the beginning! Let me know when you finish and we can have an informal discussion.

Yes, the Tracers series actually begins with the Glass Sisters books. In fact, if it gets picked for the group read, I think we'll start with those two books. The 2nd
is one of the best RS I've read in recent years.

I would say I liked it better than the previous one,
I have not given up on the series, but I'm not as enamored of the more recent stories as I was with the earlier ones.
