Enjoy! Another series I need to get back to.

I am reading Finder's Keeper by Stephen King Book 2 of the Bill Hodges Trilogy. Also Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare Book 2 of the Infernal Devices Trilogy (before I start the Mortal Instruments Series). Finally I am currently reading Let the Dead Sleep by Heather Graham Book 1 of the Cafferty and Quinn Trilogy (I've already read book 2 without realizing it was part of a trilogy).

And you'll have to keep your eye out for cameos in Mortal Instruments.
I just finished Breaking Silence, Kate Burkholder #3, another really good story and fine performance by Kathleen McInerney.
I'm now listening to Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith.

Oh my! Lol! I do like originality!
I read
The Father Factor by Kathryn Shay. I liked the story about a teenager fighting depression, but wasn't crazy about the romance in this book.My rating: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Then I read
Taken with You by Shannon Stacey. Ok story, but not my favorite in the series. My Review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Decided to take a little break and write some reviews:
One to Protect by Tia Louise: my review
Suddenly One Summer by Julie James: my review
Wicked Intentions by Elizabeth Hoyt: my review

Hero's name was the only one that bugged me, lol! I kept seeing Kate Beckinsale in Much Ado About Nothing :0)

I gotta admit that one makes the least sense. Winter comes pretty close, too.

I finished reading Ignited by Kaylea Cross yesterday and really liked this first book in the Titanium Security series. The author writes exciting op situations very similar to Suzanne Brockmann and the ending was just harrowing. While this phase of the story came to a conclusion, there is a continuing story arc (no cliffhanger). I'm very much looking forward to continuing the series. Here's my review.
I'm now reading Sweet Reward by Christy Reece, Last Chance Rescue #9. I wasn't looking forward to the story but must say, three chapters in...I'm interested:)

I finished Seduced (book 1 Into the Wild) by Molly O'Keefe and really liked it. It was a pretty short book (compared to what I normally read, I should say. 171 pages in paperback isn't exactly short, I guess), but I think she was able to pack in a very satisfying and emotional story. I'm looking forward to book 2.Now I am reading Echoes of Scotland Street (book 5 Dublin Street) by Samantha Young.

Finished listening to House Rules by Chloe Neill, Chicagoland Vampires #7, a couple of weeks ago and here's my review.

I'm about halfway and it's good so far. I've also opened the discussion in the other group. The first question can be answered after the first chapter or two. I've also added to images for Mia and Jared. Feel free to suggest more!

Yesterday I reads
All Good Deeds by Stacy Green. Absolutely could not put this book down. My rating: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I finally found a copy of "Something Sinful" by Suzanne Enoch.. it's the 3rd book in the Griffin Family series... It was alright. I have been looking forward to the fourth book.. About Sebastian.. but just read a few reviews saying that he deserved a better story! Man.. I almost wanna just push it back into the tbr pile... I don't want to be disappointed with his story as I have wanted to read it for so long! Anyone else read his book.. Sins of a Duke by Suzanne Enoch?

I'm not familiar with this series. Hope it lives up to your expectations!

I finished Sweet Revenge by Christy Reece, Last Chance Rescue #8, last week and here's my review.
I also finished the next book in the series, Sweet Reward and was pleasantly surprised as I hadn't looked forward to it. Here's my review.
I'm now reading Gone To Die by Stacy Green, Lucy Kendall #3.

I finished Broken Soul (book 8 Jane Yellowrock) by Faith Hunter. I really liked it. Jane is learning a lot of new skills and I love the growing relationships with Eli and Alex. Although, this is the one and only series that I almost wish the whole romantic aspect was taken out of because it irritates me so. And most of you know that I can only read a book if there's a promised romance (even if little), so that's saying something.I am now reading Echoes of Scotland Street (book 5 Dublin Street) by Samantha Young. So far I'm not crazy about the heroine, Shannon, but I feel like I've known Cole for a few years now ;) and I love him.
I finished Gone To Die by Stacy Green, Lucy Kendall #3, and loved it, 4.5 stars! I'm just hoping it's not the last book in the series. Here's my review.
Following a beta read for one of my favorite authors (Reese Ryan), I'm going to finally finish the Night Huntress series with Up From the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. I've put it off long enough and I can't read Vlad's latest book until I read this one.

I've been reading the anthology that has dedicated all its profits to Wounded Warriors, a charity which we support in other ways,
.Each novella is about 50 - 70 pages, and there are several authors who wrote for this: Suzanne Brockmann, Julie Ann Walker, Catherine Mann, Tina Wainscott, Anne Elizabeth, M. L. Buchman, Kate Serine, Lea Griffith. I have read about half of them so far, and there are characters from series I've read in them. Give it a try, and pass the word.

We were a house divided. My husband and I don't really care for basketball, but our oldest loves every sport in existence. He is a diehard LeBron James fan. We were cheering for the Warriors, since they're out of Oakland (and partly to give our son a good-natured hard time). He was disappointed in the Cavs' loss, but was actually happy for the winning team.
I was upset when LeBron left his hometown team a few years ago, and I was not "thrilled" when he returned. Having said this, I have lived in NE Ohio since I started college [grew up in Cincinnati].It would really be nice to see a Cleveland team actually win, not just place. The last time this happened was 1964, when the Browns won [they trained at Hiram College, when I was a student there]. A long drought....
I'm working my way through Last Chance Rescue series by Christy Reece. I'm currently on book #7
. I usually don't read this many RS back to back but Reece's writing keeps me glued to the pages and the characters are well developed through each book. Plus, she's great at making the villains really evil. I keep reading to find out their demise lol. Loving each of the couples from the books so far.
