Uh, oh. You compared this to the In Death series. Cheap shot, Pam, because now I've got to check it out:)

I second that. Shouldn't there be a new book in this series soon?

message 131: by Liz (Bugetta) (new)

Liz (Bugetta) (bugetta) | 399 comments I just finished the first book in the Veronica Mars seriesThe Thousand-Dollar Tan Line and loved it. I was a huge fan of the series and a backer of the movie, so of course I had to read the book. I wound up getting the audio because Kristen Bell (Veronica herself) narrated it. It was like an episode of the tv show, but with more swearing. :)

Now I'm listening to Fair Game by Patricia Briggs and it's excellent so far! I mainly read m/m romance these days (but I don't listen. I tried one book and I was so embarrassed listening to the explicit sex scenes I had to put it on 3xs speed on the Audible app and I was by myself! :-D) and I'm currently reading The Boyfriend Mandate by River Jaymes. I loved the first book in this series, The Backup Boyfriend, so I've got high expectations.

The author's husband died last year, which is the reason for the delay of the fourth book. So sad.
