What series are you reading?
Just finished
and gave it 3.5 stars, thanks to Lauren who picked it for me in a challenge that both of us participate. I really enjoyed it and already picked up the 2nd in the series...here's my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Jonetta, Do we have a date for SECOND CHANCE discussion in mind? I'm trying to organize which books I take when we watch our grandchildren this upcoming week :) Thanks.

Finished Second Chance by Christy Reece, Last Chance Rescue #5, and loved it. This series is so consistent, every story compelling.
I'm now reading Fireflies and Magnolias by Ava Miles, Dare River #3.

Thanks! I'll plan to read SECOND CHANCE and NO CHANCE in next week or two so I'm able to follow the discussion and/or questions soon. No pressure :)
No pressure at all! The discussion topics will be there:)
I'm assuming you mean Second Chance and Last Chance.

Well I am almost up to date with my March Plan and as I only have four books to go and a whole fortnight left in March I have of course veered off the straight and narrow, and yes started another series lol...Cindy Gerard's Black Ops - read book 1 Show No Mercyand really enjoyed the ending, quite unexpected, so I immediately found book 2 Take No Prisonersto begin tonight...

I love a good shifter story so I might check this one out! I just checked Amazon and it was on for $1.99 for anyone else who might want to try it out :).
Jonetta, You're absolutely right. I have to line the books up again to get the titles of the LAST CHANCE RESCUE series yet to be read in the correct order!

I'll get to these books soon, too. I loved our discussion for No Chance, especially when everything was so fresh on my mind.
I'll work on the discussion topics for Second Chance later this week. It was really good and I blew guessing the ending!
Jonetta wrote: "I'll work on the discussion topics for Second Chance later this week. It was really good and I blew guessing the ending!"I love when I can't guess the end! Okay, I'm getting to Second Chance next.

Robin have you read any Nalini Singh books? This is more like her book Craving Beaty. It's contempary and romantic. Though they are a series they can be read as standalones. I enjoyed them all would recommend them if you like rock& roll for the first 2 in the series and if you like coming out of her shell as a result of romance.

Thanks :).
I finally finished Biting Cold by Chloe Neill (#6 in the Chicagoland series) and was pleasantly surprised. I had been putting this one off for ages due to the events from the end of the fifth book (I wasn't enthusiastic about the ending) but I now wish that I hadn't waiting so long. I can't wait to continue this series!I've decided to start Once Upon a Tower which will compete Eloisa James' Fairy Tales series. I've really loved this series!!

Monica wrote: "I'm going to start A Lot like Love by Julie James. Looking forward to it.
"Are you enjoying it, Monica? I devoured it yesterday. I forgot how great Julie James's dialogue was. I listened to about 70% and then read the rest because I was too impatient to get to the end. :) I think I'm going to at least read one more in this series this month.
Erin wrote: "I really enjoyed Gunmetal Magic! I'm a huge Raphael fan!! :) ..."I really like Raphael too but I still feel like he's a bit of a mystery - I'd love some Raphael POV scenes. :)
I've read a lot since I last posted and made more headway in series. Yay! Kate Daniels/Kate Daniels World:
I finished Gunmetal Magic and enjoyed it a lot but I'd say it's my least favorite in the series so far -- probably because there was a very little bit of Kate and Curran -- but I still gave it 4.5* stars. :) I also listened to/read Magic Rises. I wound up switching to reading because I read really fast and I was impatient to find out how it ended and I also felt like I wasn't fully invested in the story while I was listening.
I devoured A Lot like Love yesterday and loved it. I can't believe I waited so long to go back to this series. Julie James rocks!
Oh and I forgot what I'm currently reading. I'm doing a re-read via audio of Somebody Killed His Editor by Josh Lanyon so I can read the newest book in the series.I'm also reading Tough Love by Heidi Cullinan and I'm struggling with it. I'm having a hard time connecting with the main characters and it's a BDSM romance that's pretty far out of my comfort zone.
I finished Fireflies and Magnolias by Ava Miles, Dare River #3, a rather complex story that addresses domestic violence. It's a really good story.
I'm now reading This Heart of Mine by Brenda Novak, Whiskey Creek #8, and am already grabbing for the tissues.

I'm reading
, book two in the k-9 rescue series. I'm liking this book much better than the last. Let's hope there is a strong ending.

Great to hear, Sunny! This one's up next for me and I had issues with the last one, too.

I'm collecting Nalini Singh's Psy-Changling series, but haven't read anything by her yet. This rock series sounds interesting. I think it will be going on my wishlist.

It's the only one in the series I haven't read yet. If I remember correctly, there were some not so favorable comments about the book when it came out.
I'm reading
Breathless by Anne Stuart. I thought it started off a little slow, but it has picked up the pace after a few pages.

You're remembering correctly. The reviews for this one (and ratings) are all over the place. I'm only 20% in and at first I was having a big problem connecting with the hero. I'm coming around a bit though so we'll see. He's a Scot and I do love a rugged Scotsman so he's got a bit of an advantage ;).

I think we were all reading this together a couple of years ago. I've read two in the series:)

I am really looking forward to This Heart of Mine.
I just finished Hunting Ground (book #2 Alpha and Omega) by Patricia Briggs and I loved it. It has a slow start and a bit of a rushed ending, but it was a great story nonetheless. I love Anna. She is seriously one of my favorite characters.I also finished A Lot like Love (book #2 FBI/US Attorney) by Julie James. So good, like Liz, I have no idea why I took such a break between books. I won't be making that mistake again.
I am starting Second Chance by Christy Reece tonight. It is book #5 in the Last Chance Rescue series.
Robin wrote: "I'm reading

"Enjoy Monica! It is one of my fav in the series.
I'm reading the next Rizzoli & Isles,
. When I finish this, I will switch to the Christy Reece series once again, to keep up with group discussions.
