I haven't even started my March list as I picked up Julie James and have binge read books 1-3 so I am just starting #4

I just found a new series by Cheryl Brooks...remember her? Cat Star Chronicles...She writes Erotica with humor and a twist. Must admit, 5 star books are rare but entertainment always. This one is a contemporary western.
I finished Broken Honor by Tonya Burrows, HORNET #3, and LOVED it! Here's my review.
I'm now reading Untwisted by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott, Lost in Oblivion #3.

I just finished re-reading most of the Liaden Universe series. If you like sci-fi mixed with a bit of romance and magic try it out. I love this 'universe'. Probably starting with Agent of Change would be best. There are lots of books and short stories. Its an ongoing adventure!

Just heads up...best to read
if you haven't already as it explains a lot of Tessa's character.
I am all caught up on Cynthia Eden's Dark Obsession series by finishing
and
. I am now reading book 3
by Brenda Novak (the last in the trilogy). I am also listening to
(Book 7) by Robyn Carr (latest in series).

Do you and Monica want to do a Buddy Read discussion or a full book discussion in the sister group? I'm open to either.

I finished Killjoy by Julie Garwood, third in the Buchanan Renard series and ended up loving it! I'm now starting Biting Cold by Chloe Neill which is I think the sixth book in her Chicagoland series.

Thanks :). Garwood seems to be able to do no wrong for me at the moment!

Loving them a 5* series"Glad you're enjoying them, Loriidae! I loved the first one and just realized this is yet another series I need to list for my 2-3-4 challenge since I've only read book one. I think I have all the audios too...

I finished listening to Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs, Alpha & Omega #1, and loved it! In addition to seeing Charles and Anna figure their way through a new relationship, learning more about Bran was a real bonus. Review to come.
I'm now listening to Biting Cold by Chloe Neill, Chicagoland Vampires #6.

Monica wrote: "...I've only read the first, too, Liz. I have book 2 on March's plan though."I think the universe wants to me to listen to Julie James this month. After I saw Loriidae's post, my mom mentioned how much she was enjoying About That Night. I lent her my ipod nano so she could listen to some of my Audible audios and it was on there and now you're reading it. Yep, gotta add it to the plan. I think it will be a good break between Kate audios (if I can force myself to take a break) or maybe just something different after I'm done. :)
I finished
Magic Slays and wow was that a doozy of a book. I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster! Now I'm listening to Gunmetal Magic and I'm really enjoying getting more of Andrea's story and her new take on the world. I miss Kate and Curran though. :-/ I also read a very short story about Julie called "Magic Tests" in the anthology An Apple for the Creature. It was set at a magic school and loved getting Julie's POV of the world and I'd totally read a YA series set at this school!

Glad you listened. I love the narrator of the A&O series!
I've got the lastest book, Dead Heat, waiting for me to listen to but I'm so immersed in Kate Daniel's world right now, I think I need to take a UF break before I start it.

I didn't listen to the books (except the last and loved Karen White) but absolutely loved reading this series. One of my favorites.

Holton Graham gives a fantastic performance in this series. I can't believe I took so long to start this series. I've had the first couple of books for years, too. But, maybe this was meant to be as my library started getting the audiobooks just recently.

the final book in the Arcane Society. I cannot believe that I have FINALLY finished that series. Of course, now there are three spin off series *SIGH*

What did you think of the series overall?
I finished
Playing Dead by Allison Brennan. It's the last book in her Prison Break trilogy. Overall, very good romantic suspense series. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I started a new series, Off Campus by Elle Kennedy. The first book is The Deal and I really liked it. This was also a new to me author and I'm a new fan. She creates just the right amount of angst, throws in strong characters, and lets them resolve things at a reasonable rate, all while we got to watch a great love story take place. I am listening to Hunting Ground (book 2 Alpha and Omega) by Patricia Briggs and enjoying it, although it's gotten off to a somewhat slow start. I am enjoying Anna's growth and the progression of her and Charles' relationship though.
I am going to be starting In Close (book 3 Bulletproof) by Brenda Novak once I get all caught up with my Goodreads groups ;)

I enjoyed the series overall. Some installments were better than others. I'm a huge Amanda Quick fan and expected the historical books to be my favorite, but the contemporary (Jayne Ann Krentz) ones turned out to have the edge. I didn't like the futuristic (Jayne Castle) books as much, but this wasn't unexpected as I'm not a fan of sci-fi.
The first 6 books in the series are the best.

I picked up both BOMs for one of the paranormal groups so began a new series ... I can't help it, it's a disease...just finished
Book #1 of the Covenant Series - it's YA enjoyed the second half and it's a light read so will probably go onto book #2.Just started
#3 of Brown and De Luca series...And the way everyone is talking up the Kate Daniels Series, well that might get slotted in too...bye housework...

Book #1 of the Covenant Series - it's..."The Kate Daniels series is excellent on audio, so you could listen and do housework, lol. That's my preferred way of cleaning, and if I'm being honest, the only reason anything gets done around my house.
I finished listening to The Beautiful Ashes by Jeaniene Frost (first book in her Broken Destiny series) and I didn't love it. Actually I didn't like it much at all except for the male lead Adrian who I absolutely loved. Coming from the woman who brought Bones and Vlad into my life I guess it shouldn't be a surprise that I fell for this book's hero too. I don't know if I'll bother continuing with the series. I'm now listening to Out of the Shallows by Samantha Young (second in her Into the Deep series).
Erin wrote: "I finished listening to The Beautiful Ashes by Jeaniene Frost (first book in her Broken Destiny series) and I didn't love it. Actually I didn't like it much at all except for the ma..."Bummer about The Beautiful Ashes, I'm going to be listening to that in the next few months.
And I keep forgetting about Out of the Shallows! I loved the first book, I need to get to this one!
Monica wrote: "Erin wrote: "I finished listening to The Beautiful Ashes by Jeaniene Frost (first book in her Broken Destiny series) and I didn't love it. Actually I didn't like it much at all exce..."I think the general opinion of Beautiful Ashes is favourable. It was probably just me!
I've been putting off Out of the Shallows forever because I was so emotionally wrecked after reading Into the Deep that I've been avoiding feeling that way again :). Young really knows how to write a 'rip your heart out and stomp on it' romance! Lol!
Erin wrote: "Monica wrote: "Erin wrote: "I finished listening to The Beautiful Ashes by Jeaniene Frost (first book in her Broken Destiny series) and I didn't love it. Actually I didn't like it m..."Lol, that's exactly why I've been putting it off. And then I just kind of forgot it was out there.
Beautiful Ashes reminded me a LOT of the premise of the Fever series and Adrian reminded me of Barrons. I liked the story but can understand why the heroine may have been off putting.
I got quite a bit of reading done the last few days and spent time writing reviews. So....
I squeezed in a little story when I finished one book on my plan and was out and didn't have the next one downloaded. It's an Aussie story, Until He Met Meg by Sami Lee and here's my review.
I also read the new novella in the Lost in Oblivion series, Untwisted by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott. Here's my review.
I just finished Contract to Wed by Holly Bush, Crawford Family #2, and loved it! Heres' my review.
Here is my review for Hero by Samantha Young and my review for Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs, both posted about earlier.
I'm now reading Anything But Mine by Taryn Elliott, When You're Gone #1.

I finished the last book in the Dark Dynasties series and what a bummer it was
. The couple was just meh and the showdown with a huge villain of the series was nothing. I have the impression that the author had to stop the series before she was ready to do so because some people who you would have thought would have gotten paired ended up alone.I also finally finished the 2nd book in the Amelia Peabody series.
Totally hilarious! Amelia & Emerson are such a great couple and so funny. Now I'm reading a P&P variation that I've had in my TBR for a while -
. Just ok so far.
