I'm reading Train Station Bride by Holly Bush and am loving it. My preference is historical romances set in the US.

Erin (erin36) | 484 comments I'm now starting The Duke Is Mine (Fairy Tales, #3) by Eloisa James by Eloisa James which is the third book in her Fairy Tales series. I'm not familiar with the story of the princess and the pea so I'm interested to see how this one plays out.

lorii (Loriidae) Just finished Shiver (New Orleans #3) by Lisa Jackson the 3rd in Lisa Jackson New Orleans Series. Enjoyed it more than the previous 2.

Also read Cut from Cut and Run (Phoenix Code, #1-2) by Lara Adrian by Lara Adrian It is a novella and Run is the second novella in the book by Tina Folsom. Not sure about this one it didn't really work for me and there was no resolution. The Tina Folsom novella continues the same series so hopefully it will grow on me...a pity as I love Lara Adrian

Monica | 860 comments I started The Heart of Christmas by Brenda Novak last night and I am really enjoying it. It is book 7 in her Whiskey Creek series. It's fun to read about Rex from Novak's Bulletproof series. This book will bring me up to date for about a month, until the next book is released, lol.

Me, too. But I did love the way Ann Aguirre wrapped up the series. Have you read the Dred Chronicles series. It takes place in the same world. I am enjoying that one as well. It's a little claustrophobic because it takes place in a prison, but very tension-filled.

Sunny (wkonsunshine) | 426 comments I'm also finishing up the Timeless (Parasol Protectorate, #5) by Gail Carriger . I've thoroughly enjoyed this series via audio - more so than the books, which I loved. I think the narrator is fantastic, especially with the accents. So fun.

You don't sound like a noob:)

Use this folder to set up the series list you plan to read this year. It just lays out your intentions.

Series List

If you like creating monthly plans for your reading, use this folder to set one up each month or one long running topic with your monthly plans.

https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

You can post your daily reading activities here. This topic is primarily for us to share with each other what we're reading, though I regularly peek in on others' lists and monthly plans.

Helpful? Any questions?

I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed the audios, Sunny. I read the first three books a few years ago, but my memory sucks and if I want to finish the series I need a re-read and I hoped I could do a re-listen. The ebooks are on sale for $2.99 right now on Amazon and you can get the first three audios for between $3.49 to $4.99 with the Whispersync for audio deal. Unfortunately, the fourth is $12.99 and the fifth doesn't have Whispersync for audio. :(
