Yay! I liked the next book in the series even more.

I'm reading Train Station Bride by Holly Bush and am loving it. My preference is historical romances set in the US.
I'm now starting
by Eloisa James which is the third book in her Fairy Tales series. I'm not familiar with the story of the princess and the pea so I'm interested to see how this one plays out.
Finished
.This is the last book in the Sirantha Jax series and I really sorry to see it end. Great series!

That is one of my all time favorite series. So satisfying!
Just finished
the 3rd in Lisa Jackson New Orleans Series. Enjoyed it more than the previous 2.Also read Cut from
by Lara Adrian It is a novella and Run is the second novella in the book by Tina Folsom. Not sure about this one it didn't really work for me and there was no resolution. The Tina Folsom novella continues the same series so hopefully it will grow on me...a pity as I love Lara Adrian
Earlier, I finished Falling For Sarah by Cate Beauman, The Bodyguards of L. A. County #2, and here's my review. A pretty twisted villain in this one. 4 ★
I also finished Train Station Bride by Holly Bush, Crawford Family #1, and here's my review.
I'm now reading Deception by Lisa Clark O'Neill, Southern Comfort #2.

I started The Heart of Christmas by Brenda Novak last night and I am really enjoying it. It is book 7 in her Whiskey Creek series. It's fun to read about Rex from Novak's Bulletproof series. This book will bring me up to date for about a month, until the next book is released, lol.

Oh, isn't it? I really enjoyed this book and was surprised I warmed to Eve.

Yes, I'm warming to her, too. Her inner dialogue really helps, I think she sees the error of her ways and is owning up to it. Also, it made me laugh a little that (view spoiler)

Yes, It's one of mine too. Always hate when my favorite series end.

Me, too. But I did love the way Ann Aguirre wrapped up the series. Have you read the Dred Chronicles series. It takes place in the same world. I am enjoying that one as well. It's a little claustrophobic because it takes place in a prison, but very tension-filled.

. I've thoroughly enjoyed this series via audio - more so than the books, which I loved. I think the narrator is fantastic, especially with the accents. So fun.

You don't sound like a noob:)
Use this folder to set up the series list you plan to read this year. It just lays out your intentions.
Series List
If you like creating monthly plans for your reading, use this folder to set one up each month or one long running topic with your monthly plans.

You can post your daily reading activities here. This topic is primarily for us to share with each other what we're reading, though I regularly peek in on others' lists and monthly plans.

People keep telling me that!! I'm really looking forward to it. I'm hoping to read it after I'm done The Duke Is Mine.

I read the first three books a few years ago, but my memory sucks and if I want to finish the series I need a re-read and I hoped I could do a re-listen. The ebooks are on sale for $2.99 right now on Amazon and you can get the first three audios for between $3.49 to $4.99 with the Whispersync for audio deal. Unfortunately, the fourth is $12.99 and the fifth doesn't have Whispersync for audio. :(
I just read Tess Gerritsen's first Rizzoli book (no Isles)
. I have not watched the TV series, but I noticed this book somewhere on goodreads recently, so thought I'd move past my usual reading genres.I liked it and have the second and third books on order at the local Public Library. Boy, just what I need: another series!

I actually think that Angie Harmon is not a bad Rizzoli at all. She's more or less as I imagined her. Sasha Alexander is NOTHING like Maura Isles in the books. I just decided to separate the two in my mind.

The books are gritty, the TV show is not (after the first season).

I know what you mean about watching too many shows :0)

I agree with you and Lauren, that is how I pictured her too.
I have to get back to this series. Still have the lastest book to read.
This week I read
Seduce Me at Sunrise by Lisa Kleypas. I'm loving this series (as everyone told me I would). My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Also started reading
Hell on Wheels by Julie Ann Walker. Gave up after reading 38 pages in three days. Just couldn't get into it.

You might like it better than I did, Jonetta. For some reason I couldn't keep my mind on the story at all.

I cheated a little and am listening to Breathe by Kristen Ashley. I skipped to this one because I had to know the connection with Rock Chick Revolution. But now (sigh) I am going to have to go back and read the whole series.
I'm starting the Fox & O'Hare series by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg. I finished The Shell Game this morning and should have Pros and Cons done soon. Both of those are short ebooks. The first actual book in the series is The Heist which I will probably take to work with me on Monday to start.
I just finished Magic Breaks by Ilona Andrews and loved it so much. I didn't think I could love Curran more. Boy, was I wrong. Kate was amazing, as usual. I only wish there had been more of a certain wolf (view spoiler).I am now starting two new series. I'm listening to Truly Madly Yours by Rachel Gibson and I am starting Red Rising by Pierce Brown tonight.

Yeah, I liked how she wrapped up the series because I got what I wanted.
I'll be starting Dred in March. I am a little concerned though because I haven't gotten over Jael's betrayal of Sirantha.
Yesterday I finished
The Hellion by LaVyrle Spencer .Then I read
Long Lost by Linda Castillo. The story suffers from being too short, but it was nice to read about Kate Burkholder and John Tomasetti again.
