Definite no-go! Yuck! I like smoky food (bacon, cheese, salmon etc.) but it is not something I want to drink. Lapsang Souchong tastes like inhaling a bonfire. But hey, if that's what you like! ;p

Well, I would be enjoying a nice Dark & Stormy for the December 16 live hangout, but I just need a good dark rum. I just might try the one mentioned in the above link.

Anyone have any dark rum recommendations?

I've tried most of the Plantation Rum series put out by Pierre Ferrand and I quite enjoy them, especially Plantation Grande Réserve 5 years http://www.plantationrum.com/en/secti...
