I was just going through my old posts (both from my previous account and from earlier in the year on this account) and I realized how socially awkward I was. :p

Haha yeah, I joined Goodreads like seven years ago and I cringe every time I read my old comments. O_o
Yeah everything before I was like 18 ... is just awful. And probably some stuff after that too. XD

I don't know, I'd be lying if I said I didn't cringe sometimes when I read back through my old posts (I joined this group when I was thirteen, I think?) but at the same time it's natural that my younger self didn't know any better and wasn't so mature - and I'll probably in a few years be embarrassed by what my current seventeen-year-old self wrote, so there doesn't seem much point in being too ashamed or embarrassed or any of those by past versions of me.
I have kinda the same reaction when I'm reading my old diaries, stories, poems, etc. Except I yell at myself for being so weird and dramatic.

Oh yes, me too. Except I find those kind of endearing. :D

Meanwhile, I can't even watch videos or look at pictures of myself as a five year old because I want to punch myself. I was so annoying. I still am annoying, but oh well.

One year can make a difference, I guess.
Shhh Hayden you are not annoying. :P Aww I like old pictures of myself, I was a cute little kid. What happened, am I right? I'm sure I was pretty annoying though. There are like no videos of me as a little kid ... my uncle (who is the same age as me ... errr yeah) and I recorded ourselves doing a lot of dumb skits and whatnot when we were like 9-10 years old, but the computer they were on was destroyed I think. D: Oh, also my friend and I recorded ourselves doing random skits and dances and whatnot all throughout middle school ... those are pretty embarrassing, hahaha. My fashion taste was ... interesting.
I make videos with my 3 year old brother and send them over email to my friends......yeah......I'm also that girl that goes up to the "popular" ninth graders (I'm an eighth grader) in the hall, stares at them, then gasps and yells, "YOU'RE ONE OF THEM!!!!" and then runs away:)
I got sooooooo embarrassed yesterday during history. For a project, we each have a character from the American Reveloution. I am Martha Washington, and a guy named Stephen is George Washington. Therefore, we are "married."
Well, a guy named Brent told my friend Abby that she's Stephen's wife. He was sitting across the room. So guess what I shouted to him?
"BUT I'M STPEHEN'S WIFE!!!!"
I am extremely ashamed of myself..... *pulls hood over head*
