Did you already have an opinion of Summer before you started the story? Were you neutral or thinking of her somewhat negatively?

[Anita]

My opinion definitely was more on the negative side as I only had Adam's thoughts on her. I thought she was a workaholic always off on some assignment and not making an effort to be with Adam. I feel really bad about that now.

[Laura]

I think we were purposely led to think that way Anita. We only really saw Adam worrying about their marriage in the previous books. Also Summer was never part of the girls group.

I agree with Laura. We were led to think it was one-sided. I started this book feeling a bit cool towards Summer.

I was trying not to have an opinion of Summer since we only had Adam's side to the story but have to admit, I wasn't really in her corner either. I agree, Laura. I think the author wanted us to feel that way.
