I don't often read graphic novels and I have never read one by Chris Ware. I do not yet have the book in hand, but it is on its way.

I do like comics (what we called "funny books"), although they are often not funny. As a kid, I loved the superheroes, especially Dr. Solar.

He certainly goes in for a lot of detail and, sometimes, some awful small font sizing!

Well, my library has come through, and it's in my hands. Boy, the inside cover "How to read this" section is reader hostile! 4pt. type and random panel sequence. This is going to be long...
