Thank you for sharing Jo! Emma showed a snippet some time ago on Instagram, so I have been waiting for this to drop! :)

I was very pleased to hear Solnit talk about something that really resonated with me in the introduction of Whose Story Is This? This thing that we do, where we look at the past and scoff at how backwards they were, whilst not realising how people decades from now will do the exact same thing when looking back at our era. It's something that really makes you realise how many blindspots we actually have and how, as was remarked in the book, none of our educations is ever finished.

The interview in its entirety was very insightful, and now I'm even more fired up to read and discuss her books :)
