Switching to a new book edition

My book was re-published with a new ISBN and ASIN. Today I found the new book in the Title/Author search and I tried to add it at my Author Dashboard. I "Switched" editions there but after a few hours, the earlier, out-of-print edition is still showing up. The new edition is ISBN-13 978-0991091133 and comes up in the search. How can I be sure that a search will prefer the new edition? And though the edition is now at my Author books, how can it be seen besides being an "other edition."
