Cheryl, I chose it simply because I had seen so many people had read it and was trying to pretend to keep up with the Jones' ;) I loved this and was very surprised at how much I really did enjoy it. The audio book was fantastic and I requested the second book immediately from the library. (It's also family friendly which means I was able to share it with the kids ranging from 6-17.) I can't wait to read the second one.

Since I'm starting late a will do frequent reader 10-25 and I'm starting with A feast of crows by George R. R. Martin #4 in Game of thrones series.
Dagny, I found The Devil in the White City very well written and incredibly well researched. There were so many details and Larson did a good job of not making the novel overly dry. It was both mysterious and dramatic.
54.) The Book and the Candlelight - Ellery Adams55.) Belgravia - Julian Fellowes
56.) The Charmed Children of Rookskill Castle - Janet Fox
I read The Devil in the White City too. I found it a very good, fairly quick read. It's an interesting book so I can recommend it too.
Dagny what were you're thoughts on Michael Bennett? I love this character and his huge family. I've read everyone and haven't been disappointed by any of them.
57.) Throne of Glass - Sarah J. Maas58.) Crown of Midnight - Sarah J. Maas
59.) A Spy in the House - Y.S. Lee
60.) Hamlet - William Shakespeare
61.) The Body at the Tower - Y. S. Lee

Dagny I really had a difficult time motivating myself through the first 100 pages and then my interest waxed and waned. But that ending and the last 40ish pages definitely had me biting my nails and holding my breathe.
#34 In the Tall Grass by Stephen King & Joe Hill - 3/5
An okay-ish read. Only the ending was good and the beginning too, the rest felt like a bore.

A quick guide. Loved it.
#36 The Guest List by Lucy Foley - 4/5
Must read for everyone! The dramatic reading was absolutely amazing!!

Yes!! I actually tried to read them last to last year, but I failed miserably as I kept dozing off! Lol. Then I decided to give it a go last year and made some progress, but this year I had no other option because of my spine surgery. And I must confess, audiobooks really saved me from hours of boredom! I discovered so many great new authors without having to even list a book (I wasn't allowed to lift anything for nearly 2 months!)
And now, I am convert - I love audiobooks more than any other version!

How was the Sally Field book?"
Very good. She narrated it herself so it was a very moving listen - I had no idea she’d been through half of what she has!!
