Book Synopsis:

The last few days weren't good reading days for me so I'm still not finished with the book. I'll probably finish it today.

Btw, I don't know how other people see this but for me this book has a lot of sub plot things going on. Although this is my second time reading this book it still surprises me how much plot there is.

Needless to say, this is my favorite book series. :)

I just started this and so far I like it a lot. The author set the scene perfectly and I can't wait to see what happens next!
I'm only about 15 pages in but a lot happens very quickly.

I knew Seregil's illness had something to do with the wooden disc! I wonder why he hadn't thought of it? Seregil seems like the type who would be very aware of magic and curses and whatnot.

I'm loving the book so far. It has grabbed my attention and I love the pacing. I like that we're starting to see Alec's resourcefulness. (hide spoiler)]

So Seregil is Aurenfaie! I'm not very surprised. He always seems to know more than any person should, especially about history and magical beings. I don't get why Seregil is keeping secrets from Alec, though. After everything I would think that he would trust and respect Alec enough.

The author is doing a great job of keeping my attention. I love the worldbuilding. (hide spoiler)]

So I'm assuming that the next book will get back to the main plot. I have a feeling that it will be very intense with a lot of hard situations (racing against time to start a war, etc.). (hide spoiler)]
