Meg, I was all set to choose one series for you, but then I read about the ones I had never heard about, and it totally changed my mind. So, I’m going to choose the Islands of Aloha series for you. Hi, Hilary. I have to admit I don't know any of these series, so picking took a few "what appeals to me the most?" moments. I decided the Deep Fried mysteries were the most intriguing -- perhaps because they struck me as the most unusual I've seen in a while. So, I hope you enjoy them!

Hello Fairlee,Your selections look amazing! Had a tough time deciding, but I pick for you the Hannah Swenson series
. I think that they have some of the best recipes. I've certainly adopted a few to my favorites list. The Oatmeal Raisin Crisps and the Cashew Crisps are some of my go-tos. Enjoy!

Hi KatherineI have chosen the Gilded Newport series for you. I read the first and thought it was quite good. Her other series sounds interesting as well.
Katherine wrote: "Cynthia I'm picking Hamish Macbeth by M.C. Beaton for you. It's one I'm interested in due to my Scottish ancestry so I hope you enjoy."Thank you so much! My Mom says that they're good, but also that she doesn't know how to pronounce the detective's name. I have Scottish in my ancestry too from her side of the family. Again, thank you!

Susan wrote: "Hi KatherineI have chosen the Gilded Newport series for you. I read the first and thought it was quite good. Her other series sounds interesting as well."
Thanks Susan. I first got into the series after visiting the Breakers last year. Looking forward to getting back to the series in the new year.
Happy Holidays and Happy Reading Everyone!
JenniferThank you. I’ve read the first three in this series and am anxious to get back to them. They are really well written.
I finished my first book, "The Christie Curse," the other day. What a great bunch of characters. Starting "The Sayers Swindle" today. For anyone who hasn't read these, the first was about a mysterious Agatha Christie play. I'm looking forward to finding out what's up with Dorothy Sayers and where Jordan is going to be living.
