Chapter 1(view spoiler)[ I love how this book starts with dash finding a red book what is out of place in the library with free books what he's got to pick up (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 2-3(view spoiler)[ I know how it he decides to play the game right back to Lily and get somebody to go to the video store and picks up the Godfather II and that other movie and then tells her to pick him a movie out you should have never said he didn't like Christmas movies or anything to do with Christmas (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I knew Lily was going to make him do stuff with Christmas reindeer gloves and then the next clue was to find the clue under the pillows in the bedding department and then the last clue was to sit on Santa's lap and get the last clue often that was so funny and put it with the Lilly stockings what she was supposed to do next (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 1(view spoiler)[ in chapter 1 when dash was telling us that he told both of his parents that he was at the other parents just so he could be alone for Christmas and let them go on holidays I felt for him (hide spoiler)]

I will put my thoughts on some of the other chapters later because I'm still trying to remember everything what went on but these chapters I wrote down as notes I have now finished this book and it was a great book I really did love it

(view spoiler)[i’m only two pages in and i’m starting to dislike Dash. mostly because of the writing style. it seems too wordy when it really doesn’t need to be. that might just be because of my verylimited vocabulary, though. (still... “but mostly i was spending time in the Stand, that bastion of titillating erudition.”

but Lily is nice!! their book of dares is very cute, and Dash seems less wordy and arrogrant now (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Dash seems much less pretentious now haha! but now Lily seems kind of annoying because she gets upset at everything?? ugh. the clues and the book are cute, though. and i love how she calls him snarl!! but also, i keep getting worried because they’re putting the book in such public places. someone might steal it. (view spoiler)[everything is so messed up now! Dash doesn’t really want to meet Lily in real life? also what’s the deal with postcard 6? i don’t really understand what all of those definitions were supposed to mean.

I started listening to the audiobook but I’m not really liking it so far. I hope I’ll change my mind at some point!

I’m at chapter 7 now. I should have known better than to pick up a Christmas romance right now. I’m not really loving this book not because it’s really bad but more because it’s not my taste right now.

(view spoiler)[ I don’t really care about the main characters. It feels a bit unrealistic with the notebook. The clues seem convenient when they always figure them out.

The chapters are really long so that might be why I feel it takes me a long time to go through the book.

Finished - I had a hard time to go through this book. The book is cute sometimes so it wasn’t all bad. I get why most people like this book.
