First! :DGood luck with your reading in 2020! I have read neither of those books either... Maybe one day!
Four months into the year, I guess it's time I list the few books I have read. I don't know what I have been doing with my time, but I haven't been reading books.1...01/10...The Evolution of Mann: Herbie Mann and the Flute in Jazz - Gary Ginell
2...01/28...Time is not infinite - Paolo Ruggeri
3...02/06...Saint Nicholas and Santa Claus: The History of the Man and the Character Behind the Most Popular Christmas Traditions - Charles River Editors
4...02/17...Resurrection Day / Repel (Doc Savage (Doc Savage (Bantam) #36, 28) - Kenneth Robeson
5...02/22...Two Ton: One Night, One Fight -Tony Galento v. Joe Louis - Joseph Monninger
6...03/23...One Second After - William R. Forstchen
7...04/21...Build the Perfect Bug Out Bag: Your 72-Hour Disaster Survival Kit - Creek Stewart
8...04/24...Confess, Fletch (Fletch, #2) - Gregory Mcdonald
Nos. 2 and 3 are too short to be considered books; so I consider myself at six of the twelve-book goal for 2020.
By far the biggest disappointment was One Second After. The others I can recommend.

Well, that's good to know. When you speak to her again, please let her know I asked about her.
9...5/05...The Run-Out Groove - Andrew Cartmel10...5/12...March Violets - Philip Kerr
11...5/17...The Case of the Sulky Girl - Erle Stanley Gardner
12...5/17...Know It All Jazz - Dave Gelly
13...5/19...At the Old Ballgame - Jeff Silverman
14...5/28...America First! - Bill Kauffman
And with that I have reached my goal of 12 books for the year!

15...6/13...Loserthink - Scott Adams16...6/20...Goal Setting for Preppers - Chuck Anderson
I enjoyed Loserthink. It's Adams' latest.
17...7/08...Wilderness Survival Knives - Clint Hollingsworth18...7/09...Knife Sharpening - Tom Claycomb III
19...7/12...100 Words Almost Everyone Confuses and Misuses - American Heritage
20...7/17...Southern California Surf Music, 1960-1966 - John Blair

22...8/13...Son of Havana - Luis Tiant
23...8/15...Fletch's Fortune (Fletch, #3) - Gregory Mcdonald
24...8/21...New Orleans Radio - Dominic Massa
I recommend 100 Words and Amazing Eye Tricks. I'm sure that those who remember Luis Tiant will enjoy his autobiography as well.

Well Stephanie, I've read a little bit of it. I guess I should get serious!
25...9/23...Fletch and the Widow Bradley - Gregory Mcdonald26...9/30...You Can't Catch Sunshine - Don Maynard
27...10/06...Fletch's Moxie - Gregory Mcdonald
28...10/13...The Warsaw Document - Adam Hall
29...11/19...Golden Age Western Comics - Christopher Irving
It was fun to read the western comics, but I'm good for another sixty years now!
I read westerns (no longer buy them at my Mom's request). Never occurred to me to look for western comics. Huh. I primarily read westerns during my westerns month (August), but I think I only have about 20 left (Mostly Jonas Ward and Louis L'Amour).

They were much like the newspaper strip Rick O'Shay. Maybe one day more from that era will be reprinted.
It's clear that I won't be reading Crime and Punishment this year. But I plan to read The Brothers Karamazov next year!
30...11/25...Keystone Korner: Portrait of a Jazz Club - Kathy Sloane
Happy New Year everyone!31...12/09...A Maigret Christmas: And Other Stories - Georges Simenon
32...12/19...When the Irish Invaded Canada - Christopher Klein
I can recommend both of these.
Stephanie, Hamilton Books has many westerns which might appeal to you.
I think I saved the best for last. I really enjoyed Klein's book about the Fenians.

I did not read a great Russian novel in 2019 as I had planned, but I did begin two collections of Russian short stories. I intend to finish both collections in 2020. And maybe this will be the year I read War and Peace or Crime and Punishment.
