"Youd be the perfect person for their messed up lives." He said and cleared his throat. "I think we need more ice cream."

"Want some?" He asked taking the melted sundae.

He shrugged and got some for himself, letting the ice cream slide down his throat

"It's not cold anymore, you might like it more." He offered holding out the small bowl.

He nodded again with a soft smile "don't mind if we sleep in the same bed tonight do you?"

"I wasn't going to take no as an answer," he teased winking at her.

"I was joking Jules." He said putting his hand on her arm.

"Sorry," he put his head down but continued to eat the remaining sundae.

"Where you going?" He asked watching her from behind.
Mod
"You know why you just decided to get up and almost walk out that door." He tried to keep his voice levelled. He didn't want to start anything that would blow out of proportion.

"Okay," he raised his hands in the air as if to surrender. "If you do leave the room, just keep your head down don't let anyone see you. I can't have you gone."

He sighed as she shut the door behind her. He didn't know what he was going to do with her temper but he needed to fix it. He could never figure out what not to say and what to say.

He pushed the room service cart to the side and fell back onto the bed looking up at the ceiling light. He hoped she came back soon undetected and unharmed.

He heard the sirens and sat up right. Jules was out there. He grabbed a Hoodie and pulled it over his head coverin his eyes "Jules?" He whispered harshly down the hallway.

He cursed himself silently. How could he have let her walk out! He knew the dangers. He slimmed around a corner and spotted her. He tried not to make any movements. The last thing he wanted was to get caught.

He watched from the corner wanting to get her attention. How would she know he was there waiting for an opportunity. He ran back to the room bringing the bit of ice cream left. He scooped it up with his hands and threw it as close to her as he could. Hoping that would work.

He clenched his jaw. Self sacrifice for her? Or just let her leave and live as a refugee on his own?

He nodded his head and slowly revealed himself from his dark location. He walked close behind Jules "don't go with them, go to the bathroom I'll get you out. I know the way out from there." He whispered but it was loud enough that he knew she could hear him.

He was shocked, his mouth fell open as she said it. He was only thinking of himself? He was the one risking going to jail to get her back with him and away from her parents.

"I want you to myself, I stole a car and kidnapped you. They don't take that lightly Jules, I'm facing jail time for that. I won't be able to see you afterwards." How could she think anything otherwise?

He knew that he shouldn't argue that point but he also knew the police didn't fall for 'i was rescuing her' especially since we had been running from the police. "You're going back to your parents Jules. I can't help you there."

At a loss for words he did the only thing that he knew would get the message through her thick skull. "Hey officer!" He said clapping the man on the back, before pushing the hoodie back "lookin' for me?"

He raised his eyebrows at Jules "told you," was all he could muster as they cuffed him and pulled him towards the cop car. She would learn sooner or later that the world wasn't a fantasy.

The police continued to carry him away stuffin him into the car.
