He went through the automatic doors with her in his arms "I need help here. My girlfriend Lily hurt herself falling down the stairs." He said in a frenzy, he needed it to sound real.

"My arm." She whispered softly. She didn't want to leave the comfort of Nathan's arms.
The doctor came in. "It's just dislocated I will have to set back in. Sir do you want us to put her to sleep for that."
Nathan looked at the doctor then back at Jules "do you want to be put to sleep Lily?" He asked looking at her softly but urgency in his eyes.

"Thanks doc." He said in a fast voice, he stood up putting the pill bottle on her stomach. And walked out quickly moving through the lobby and waiting and praying he got to the car without being stopped.

He put her laid across the back seat and got into the drivers seat exhaling gratefully.

He looked back smiling at her and started the engine. He continued on his way looking for signs of a small town near by.

"Good evening sleeping beauty." He said looking in the rear view to look at her.

"You've been out for about two hours," he chuckled. "There's a bag of chips in the bag next to you."
Mod
"Hop into the seat, try not to hit my arm." He said motioning for her to come with him. "Chips are bags of crispy heaven."
Mod
"Yeah, my favourite is barbecue but there's ketchup salt and vinegar, and tons more." He said listin them off.
Mod
"Those are barbecue," he said smiling "my fav!"
Mod
He shrugged with a smile "I'll stock up on different ones next time."
Mod
"And ya know what Jules," he looked at her smiling lopsidedly "I like you too Jules." He said tapping her thigh.

He nodded at her with a smirk "no problem darlin'" he said in a fake but convincing Texas accent.

"I was serious too," he smirked. He always loved making people laugh, it was awesome to see her smile and laugh again after seeing her cry so often.

"Okaie dokie lass," he said absolutely butchering the Scottish accent.

He nodded agreeing with her fully "oh I'm most definitely paying attention to the road," he said then chuckled.

"Do you know how to drive?" He asked, he don't want to stop for the night, he wanted to go till he was about to pass out.

He pulled over an unbuckled his seat belt, "you drive, we need to gain more distance."
Mod
"Your arm will be okay, I have meds for you if it hurts." He have her a hopeful look, they couldn't stay put they were barely out of the state.

He pulled her in for a thankful unexpected kiss. "Thank you," he said softy pulling out the meds from his hoodie and putting them in a cup holder.

He smiled at her and got into a comfortable position and passed out almost immediately.

He put his hand over his eyes snoring lightly. He had been so tire of the fighting and the minimal sleep that it had hit him hard.

He opened his eyes some time later, squinting with sleep. "You okay," he asked turning on his side to look at her.

"Want to switch?" He asked undoing his seatbelt. He didn't want her to be tired and drivin or in pain for that matter.

"I've slept enough, you should sleep." He said sitting up. He grabbed some chips from the open bag that she had opened earlier.
