John Wiltshire | 36 comments Hi, my new book This Other Country was just added. Could the ISBN number please be corrected. It is:
MLR-1-02014-0336
and comment from Goodreads librarian about wrong number removed.
My mistake in original request. Apologies.

Z-squared | 8575 comments John, that's not a valid ISBN. Can you doublecheck the number, please?

Z-squared | 8575 comments oh, nm, i see it on the publisher's page. I'm not sure we accept proprietary ISBNs other than BNIDs, Kobo IDs, and ASINs. But in the meantime, I added a kindle edition of your book here:

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Also, the proprietary MLR # you give is listed as an ebook on the publisher's page, not a paperback as is currently on your profile. Is there a paperback edition of this book available?

John Wiltshire | 36 comments Ah, okay, I think I'm confused then because I was looking at this page:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2.... So I think it's up twice now? I'd hazard a guess and say this one needs to come down of the two?
It will be out in paperback and it will then have ISBN.
Sorry for the confusion.

Z-squared | 8575 comments On Goodreads, we treat kindle editions and ebook editions as separate formats. And we keep a book record for all available formats. So there should be a minimum of two records, one for the kindle edition and one for the ebook edition available straight from the publisher's page. When the paperback edition comes out, a third edition needs to be added for that one as well.

Z-squared | 8575 comments I should add, once you have the ISBN for the paperback, feel free to come back here and have a librarian create that edition for you, if you'd like.
