SOLVED. Opposite of the Metamorphosis. [s]

I started reading this book in the 90s, I think. Lost it. It is the opposite of Franz Kafka's Metamorphosis. A cockroach wakes up to discover he is a man. I thought it was called K. Roach or C. Roach but I can't find anything with that name.
