When Hero meets with Victoria and Jarvis shows up, she realizes they are lovers. How long do you think it will take her to figure out she had something to do with her mother’s death?

I totally want more of Victoria and Jarvis! I would love if the subject of Hero's mother was covered in the next book. I see Victoria being just as sly and scheming as Jarvis!

Oh, Jo Ann, I can’t wait for that story, especially Hero’s role in it. It will be delicious.

Victoria may just have an edge on Jarvis. Do you think he knows she did in his wife?

I hope not. Deep down (way, way down) I sort of like Jarvis. Plus I would hate to see Hero hurt like that. Hero knows he has many faults, but it is her father and she loves him dearly.

Unfortunately, I believe that Jarvis, at a minimum, suspects Victoria had a hand in his wife’s death.

I agree. Jarvis is too smart to not strongly suspect that Victoria killed off Lady Jarvis.

I can't wait for Hero to put two and two together. I think that she's starting to suspect that Victoria may have had a hand in the murder of Sir Felix. There was just some subtle stuff going on in her last conversation with Sebastian in this book that makes me think that. I can't wait for that story!

I agree Veronica. However it all shakes out, we are going to see Hero suffer. Hero loves both of her parents. It will be heartbreaking if it turns out her father knows.

Hero resents that her mother didn't feel comfortable showing Jarvis how smart she is, yet he accepts Victoria's cunning and brains.

I hope Sebastian isn't the one who tells her. That will be tough on both of them.

I think Jarvis knows Victoria killed Lady Jarvis and was okay with it. When Hero puts it all together there will be hell to pay. I see a future book where one of them ends up dead and Hero accused of it.

I also think she had a hand in killing Sir Felix. He knew way too much about her and her methods.
