Ashworth’s valet, Edward Digby, is missing. Did you already suspect he was dead or something else (hiding because he was a witness, was the murderer, etc.)?

I thought he was either dead, or saw something or someone and knew that knowledge would put his life in danger.

[Jonetta]

I thought he’d witnessed the murder but wasn’t sure if he was dead or in hiding. But, the more I learned about him, I came to believe he was dead. It didn’t come as a surprise.

Ditto.

Either he was dead or hiding.

I never thought he was the murderer, too easy, but I figured he was in hiding because he witnessed something or else dead.

I didn't think he was the murderer but a witness. I thought he was in hiding somewhere.

I thought he had witnessed the murder, or at least knew who has killed Ashworth, and the murderer had killed him.
