Please reflect on your goal for November 2019 in this discussion board. Write about what your goal was, if you achieved it, and an explanation explaining why you did or did not achieve it. Aim for four sentences.
My goal for the month of november was to read at least 5 chapters and i did so. i started to read this book on my free times in class and 9th period. This book is really good and i feel like i will keep on reading it the more and more it gets into the problem in the story. For now i will keep on reading on my freetime and 9th period.
I did not meet my goal for the month of November. My goal was to read half of the book by the end of this month but with reading the Giver as well I didn't complete my goal. I also have practices which take up my time along with other homework.
I did not reach my goal this month. My goal was to finish the book. I don't think I reached my goal because I am really busy every night of the week so I don't think I had enough time to finish the book.
My goal for the month is to read for 15 minutes. I have achieved my goal because I actually took time and finished things that needed to be done at home. Then, I read for like about an hour, since I had extra time. After that, I would start to make predictions on what may happen. The book that I am reading now really inspires me and this goal is helping me read more.
My goal was to read 250 pages a month. I did not achieve my goal because I think I set it a little high. I also have other activities that take up most of my day so it's hard for me to find time to read. When ever I do read it's usually The Giver.
My goal was to finish a book this month. I did not achieve this goal but I am so close to. I didn't achieve it because I have not been reading as much as I should have. I will probably finish this book really soon though.
I didn't achieve my goal of reading three chapters a week, sksksk. Partially because I got lazy and partially because my mom wouldn't let me skip piano lessons to read because she knows I don't read.
I met my goal, because my goal was to read a book each month, and I read 2 books in the month of november. I achieved my goal by reading almost everyday, and being sure I read in quantities that would fulfill my goal. I also achieved my goal by choosing books that fit my criteria.
I did not type my goal down but my goal was to finish the book I am reading now in that month and I did not. So what that means is that I failed my goal and did not complete it. I am though almost done with my book I think I only have like 20 or 25 pages left but I did want to completely finish the book last month and I did not but I think I will complete my goal next month though.
My last post about my goal was this, "My goal is to try and read 1/2 to 1 book per month. I want to read at least 1 page everyday." I both achieved and didn't achieve this goal depending on how you look at it. I did make it to about half way through my book this month but I didn't always read one page per day. On the days that I did read, I read more than one page but I didn't read everyday like I was planning to do.
I reached my goal because I set aside some 9th periods to read and I am starting a new book that I have never read before. I plan to hopefully finish that book by the end of break.
I did not reach my goal for the month of November 2019. This is because I was not at school for that many days so I had to catch up on the giver book then my independent book. I hope that I can catch up on my book so I understand what is going on in my book.
I went over my reading goal and so now I have a bigger expectation for next month because I know that I can read more then I have been and if I do it gives me more of a challenge then I have been giving myself because I thought I wouldn't be able to because of my homework but I've been having less now so I've had more time to read.
I feel that I reached my November goal because I got half way done with my book, and leaving the rest for December and January will be enough time for me to reflect for my book talk.
