The nominations thread for the January 2020 Fiction Read is now open, please suggest your book choices below.

Please remember that:
1. We do not allow self-promotion or self-published books.
2. All books need to be seconded by someone else in order to get to the voting stage and
3. Nominations must be readily available in as many formats as possible at a reasonable price.

This thread will remain open until the 10 December and then will be closed for voting.
Plainsong goes through from the last Fiction poll as runner up.

Either nominate or second a book, but please not both.

Nominated
Where the Line Bleeds
The Good Soldier Švejk

Nominated and Seconded:
Plainsong
The Wall
Ghost Wall
Our Endless Numbered Days

Debbie! Welcome back!

I will second Jason's suggestion of The Testaments - although it is only in hardback so it bends our rules? However, it is a bestseller so is basically the same price as a paperback in a lot of places... What do you think, Paul?

Amazon do it for £9.99 but most other places have it for £16 and up. I still think it is a little new to include. Libraries West where I am, have 100 copies and all bar one are on loan.
