The Face of Deception by Iris Johansen 3 stars

Eve Duncan's daughter was murdered and her body never recovered. Eve became a forensic sculptor to help other families reunite with their deceased family members. Eve is hired by John Logan to identify a mysterious skull which results in her being pursued by a killer. I liked Eve though she wasn't fully developed. A lot of the dialogue was rather stilted which lowered my rating. The book is more a thriller than a mystery since you learn who the killer is around a third of the way through the book. I'm interested enough in Eve's story that I'll at least read the next book in the series.
