"How are you feeling?" The doctor asked."The baby?" Was what Caroline replied with.
The doctor sighed softly and moved to Caroline's side. "I'm sorry, but the baby couldn't be saved."Caroline opened her mouth wide and covered her mouth just as she sobbed hysterically. "No! You're lying to me!" She screamed through tears.
"I'm sorry Caroline. We tried everything. But by the time you got here, he was already dead." The doctor said sadly."H-he?" Caroline stuttered, reaching out to Peter.
"Of course," he nodded. "Again, my condolences." He walked off.Caroline cried out and covered her face in her hands.
Caroline wrapped her arms around him and held onto him tightly. She sobbed into his shoulder.(( I was thinking since this miscarriage and after they're married, Peter has a difficult time persuading Caroline to try for another baby, because she thinks she'll lose it?)$
(( I can also be Melody now))"I-I;m so sorry." She sobbed.
Melody sniffed and stood up.
"Yes it is! I was carrying him." She paused. "He. We were going to have a son." She cried harder."You have a beautiful son now, Caroline." Melody murmured.
Caroline sniffed and sat back a little to look at him. "Noah called you dad the other day when you weren't around." She whispered.
Caroline smiled through her tears. "Really?"
Caroline gasped and covered her mouth. "Oh!"
"Oh my god...Peter.." She stammered, wiping her dripping nose and gazing down at the ring."Holy shit!" Melody exclaimed.
"Yes... of course I will." She smiled through tears.
She kissed him back then pulled away. "Why did you choose now to do this?" she asked quietly.
She smiled a little and watched him slide the ring on her finger. But for some reason, she couldn't show all of her happiness.
She sighed deeply and closed her eyes.
She nodded slowly and pulled away.
She kept a frown on her face as she laid down.
Melody walked up to Peter's side and touched his shoulder. "I think she just needs some time alone.."
Caroline curled up in the hospital bed and sobbed silently.
Melody nodded and leaned against the wall across from him. Tears stained her cheeks. "Of course."
Melody sighed and closed her eyes for just a second then opened them again. "He's that famous singer you hear about all the time." She mumbled, then sighed again. "Before he was famous, he was my boyfriend. We were together for almost two years and it was amazing. He was amazing. He changed my world." She smiled at the memory. "I helped him become famous. Everything was fine until he broke my heart by cheating on me with his current fiance."
"Yup." She sighed in agreement. "Haven't dated anyone since."
"Not....not really." She admitted. "I've been trying to focus more on my music."
She smiled and shrugged. "Thanks. But I'm not as good as David." She sighed.
Melody bit her lip. "I know. Speaking of albums...Mine is coming out soon." She said.
Tears gathered in her eyes. "Honestly, that means so much to me." Melody sniffed and and held a hand over her heart.
"That was the first song I wrote that had an electric beat to it." She beamed and wiped her eyes.
"I have almost five million subscribers." She shrugged.
"But he's famous in real life. He goes on talk shows and performs concerts." She mumbled.
"But no one would pay money to see a twenty-two year old girl perform electric violin." She sighed.
"That's not the first thing on my mind right now." She looked down the hall toward Caroline's hospital room.
"Are you okay?" Melody frowned and touched his shoulder. "How are you taking the news?"
"Do you really think this was the best time to propose to her?" Melody bit her lip.
Melody nodded. "I understand. Just don't expect her to be all that happy for a while." She sighed sadly.
"If she'll take it." Melody mumbled.
"I'll go call my parents." She murmured and walked down the hall.((Want to skip somewhere?))

((Okay))Five months later, it was two days after their small wedding. It took a lot convincing for Caroline to even agree on a honeymoon, but she told herself it'd make her happy. She finally married the man she loved in such a short time, that the death of their baby seemed so far away. They were now both on a plane, headed to their honeymoon destination. Caroline was asleep, her head resting on Peter's shoulder.
A few minutes later , a flight attendant announced that everyone should prepare for arrival.
Caroline whined and wrapped an arm around him and buried her face in his shoulder.
"Stooooopp." She moaned into his shoulder.
Caroline sat up then and stretched her arms over her head, letting out a long yawn.
She smiled and rubbed her eyes. "Will you finally tell me where we are?" She smirked.
She leaned over him and peered out the window. "Well, it's look very warm." She shrugged. "The Dominican?"
She looked at him oddly. "Babe, just tell me where we are." She laughed.
She gasped. "What?! No fucking way!!"
The doctor walked in slowly. "Hello miss Walker."
