Caroline suddenly groaned and hunched forward. Melody raised her head. "Care?"
"Friday." She groaned."It's Tuesday." Melody stood up.
Caroline whimpered. Just then her pants became wet.Melody held her other arm.
"Where is mom and dad?" Caroline asked."Mom is in the city taking to her publisher." Melody replied. "Dad!!!" She called throughout the house.
"Caroline's water broke!" Melody told him.Caroline whined and leaned against David.
Melody sat in the back with Caroline and Jason and David took the front.
Caroline screamed and hunched forward. Melody rubbed her back."I'm on my way." Kaya hung up.
A nurse helped Caroline into a wheelchair. She groaned. "Fucking shit!" She cursed.Melody couldn't help but giggle, then she gasped. "I forgot my cane!"
Melody nodded and held onto his arm.Caroline grimaced and panted. "Who'll be present in the birth room?" The nurse asked.
"Care?" Melody wanted her sisters opinion."Sure. I don't care." She sighed deeply in pain.
"I'll stay out here with you." She squeezed his arm.
Kaya came in and followed the two.
"It fucking hurts." Caroline groaned as the nurse helped her up and helped her out of her clothes.
She was helped into a gown and into bed. "I want the drugs." She grimaced and covered her eyes with her arm.The nurse looked at her parents. "Epidural?"
She nurse nodded and checked Caroline. "Four centimetres." She said to herself then left to get the doctor. Kaya took Caroline's hand and kissed her head.
"Ten." Kaya told him softly. ((Idk if you want to skip the birth or not))
((We'll skip to just after))With one last push her Caroline cried out as her baby slipped out and also started to cry. "It's a boy!" The doctor cheered. Caroline started to cry.
Kaya smiled and kissed Jason. "We have a grandson."
The baby was quickly cleaned and placed onto on Caroline's chest. She sobbed and touched her son. "N-Noah." The nurses stitched Caroline up as she was distracted.
"He's so beautiful honey." Kaya sniffed and smiled.((Let's hear it))
"Can you go get Melody and David?" Caroline asked.((So what would that lead to then? David breaking up with Melody?))
"Is she and the baby alright?" Melody stood up after seeing his figure walking down the hall.((Hmm, maybe he could confess his feelings to Caroline alone and she would persuade him to stay with Melody and get over her because she doesn't feel the same.))
"Hey supper girl!" Melody smiled and slowly walked up to her bedside. Caroline helped her guide her hand onto Noah's little back. He was curled up against Caroline, sleeping softly.
"David, come see him." Melody beckoned him over.
"Here Melody, you can hold him." Melody hesitated. "I....uh.... David can you help me?"
Melody sat down in a chair and smiled down at Noah. "Hey my little nephew."Caroline watched them both and bit her lip.
Caroline forced a small smile then looked away.
((Let's skip a few days))A few days later, Caroline was at home with Noah now. This particular day, Melody wasn't feeling well and was taking a nap. Caroline was getting frustrated over Noah who wouldn't stop crying.
"Do I ever." She sighed. "What are you doing here?" She held Noah to her chest and was bouncing lightly.
She let him take Noah. "Shouldn't you be with Mel?"
"Wow! How did you do that?" She smiled.
"How do you know how to do all of this?" She asked, taking Noah from him.
She frowned and gestured for him to sit in her rocking chair. "Shit I'm so sorry David. For everything. Even trying to have sex with you. You're a really sweet guy." She smiled.
"Well Sean is an asshat. Like most of the guys I've slept with." She sighed and sat in an armchair, holding Noah. "Does that make me a bad person? For sleeping with so many guys?"
She smirked and shook her head. "That's not why David."
"I'm not mentally stable. I have these problems...these...disorders that effect my emotions. I can't feel love of many other emotions. That's why I sleep around because I am just so desperate to feel something." She explained, her voice breaking.
"Its still stupid. I shouldn't go out like that but I have these voices that tell me to." She bit her lip and squeezed his hand.
She smiled and broke the eye contact. "Yeah. But I'll never find a guy who could tolerate me."
She raised an eyebrow. "Why would you? You have Melody who is ten times better than me. She's smart, talented, pretty and pure."
She shook her head. "Do you hear yourself? You sound like you don't want to be with her."
She looked down at her son bad touched his little cheek, nodding slowly. "He looks so much like his dad." She whispered,
A small smile crept on her lips. "His dark hair"
"His complexion." She fought back.
She sighed and glared at him playfully.@
"I'm trying my best." She sighed and placed Noah in his crib. "Do you mind watching him? I really want to have a shower."
"Thank you so much." She touched his arm then left the nursery.
Noah made cute noises and squirmed like newborns do. He held onto his finger in a tiny fist.
Melody bit her lip.
