She smiled and put down the lighter an inhaled the nice deductive scent. "I think my favourite anniversary was our first."

She giggled and placed her hands on his shoulders. "It wasn't anything elaborate. It was our first night alone without the twins, who were just a year old. We went out to dinner and came home and danced in the living room until our feet hurt. Then you carried me up to our room and we made love sweetly and slowly."
"Good idea." She grinned and kissed him softly.
She tilted her head up. "I don't care if they did."
She snuggled up against his side. "I love you," she whispered tiredly.((I have an idea))
She fell asleep.((I was thinking David and Melody could be going on a date and she's driving. They could get in a bad car accident but they both survive, David in a better condition than Melody, and Melody could go blind.))
((Of course))The next morning, the kitchen was noisy and busy since everyone was in it. Caroline was texting on her phone, Alexis was whining as she was being teased by Brandon and Melody was simply skimming a magazine. All of them were sitting at the kitchen table. It was a Saturday morning.
Kaya was pulling on her shirt. "Hey sleepy head." She teased.
"Did you? I would have never guessed." She joked.
"I don't have time. I have to take Alexis to dance class." She kissed his forehead. "Mom! Dad!" Melody called from the foyer,
"Oh, nothing. Im going to go hang out with David and I'll be dropping off Caroline at the clinic." She gestured to Caroline who smiled sheepishly.
"The parenting clinic dad." Caroline muttered.
She frowned and pulled her dad aside to talk to him privately. "Seriously? I just met him last night!" She hissed and shoved the condom into his pocket.
She rolled her eyes and shoved it into her tote bag. She then held out her hand. "Keys please." Caroline whistled and edited by the door.
"Love you to!" She kissed his cheek and Kaya's cheek and left the house with Caroline.
"Sure. Come with me and I'll take you there after I drop off Alexis okay?" Kaya smiled.
Melody parked in his driveway. "Care, go in the back." Caroline sighed and climbed into the backseat.
Caroline set her mouth straight. "David." She murmured.Melody blinked and looked between the two. "Have you two met before?" She asked.
Melody kept her eyes on the road. "Yeah, why?"
Melody stopped on the side of the road. "What?!" "Surprise." Caroline smirked.
"God Caroline do you fuck every guy I've ever talked to!? If you would have done that it would have been illegal!" Caroline shrugged. "I didn't know how old he was."
"Probably, I don't remember." Caroline muttered."Kyle is gay!" Melody protested.
"My sex?!" She glared at him. "I am not gay! I didn't know he was gay!" Melody sighed. "Caroline, just the fuck out of the car. Please." She growled.
"Fuck you." Caroline slammed the car door and flashed her sister the middle finger as she walked away from the car down the sidewalk.Melody placed her forehead on the stirring wheel. "I'm so sorry David. I didn't know."
She sat up and nodded. "Sure. Where to?" She started the car.
"Yeah. Sounds good. By the way, look in my bag." She smirked and drove down the road.
She laughed. "Yup. My dad is weird. Can you believe he gave it to me?"
"I don't even know. He's acting the complete opposite of how a dad should act." She smirked.
"He doesn't want me to be Caroline." She murmured ruefully. She stopped at a red light.
She bit her lip and let out a shuddery breath. "I don't be like her." She nodded to herself. A car was speeding toward her car, but she was looking at him and didn't notice.
She looked out the window and screamed, covering here face but it was late. She car rammed into her side head on.
Melody's entire body was thrown to the side. The car flipped over and rolled, sitting upside down. They both dangled there unconscious. Sirens blared.
Melody's face was covered in blood from her broken nose. Her seatbelt was so tight against her chest, it cut through skin.Jasons phone rang. "Is this Mr. Walker?"
"This is Lisa from the police department. There has been an accident." She said calmly.
"There was one teenage girl and one teenage boy in the vehicle. They are both being taken to the hospital right now. There was no other female present." She said.
"Long. She's in critical condition though. The boy is conscious now." She told him.
"What's up babe?" Kaya picked up. She was at a cafe downtown.
"Oh my god!" She ran out of the cafe and into her car. "Are they okay? Where is Caroline?!"
"Okay." She hung up and sped to the hospital.
"Yeah?" She picked up on the third ring.
"What?!" She said frantically. "I'm at the clinic like I said. Melody and I had a fight so I walked. Dad is she okay?"
"Okay." She sniffed and hung up and texted her mom where she was.
Kaya picked up Caroline and drove to the hospital, picking up Jason as they passed him.
A nurse was hooking up his IV. She noticed him waking up. "Hey son. How are you feeling?" His head was bandaged up. Other than a mild concussion and a broken collar bone, he was fine.
She handed him a cup of water and hesitated to answer his question about Melody.
"We don't really know, son. She's still unconscious. She has a very bad head injury and a few broken bones. Mainly her ribs. We won't know anything else until she wakes up." She told him.
"Get some rest." She smiled and left.
Kaya, Jason and Caroline ran into the hospital. "Where is she?!" Kaya shouted.
