She placed her forehead against his and closed her eyes.
She kissed him back. "Why does everyone think they can take advantage of me?" She whispered.
She sighed and climbed off his lap.
"I'm going to go take a nap." She murmured.
She forced a small smile and left the office.

She crawled into bed and sighed deeply.
She snuggled up close to him and whined.
"Not as much as I should be." She sighed.
"I love you too." She nuzzled her face into his neck.
"That's mine! Give it back!" Shouted Brandon from the living room downstairs.
Brandon and Melody were playing tug-a-war with the family iPad. "I need to look up something!" Melody protested.
"Brandon took the iPad from me while I was about use it!" She shouted."No! I reached if first." Brandon spat.
"I want to play!" He shouted and tugged hard.Melody scowled and pulled harder.
"I need to look up sheet music." She crossed her arms. "Make your own!" Brandon countered.
"I can't you idiot!"
"But daaaaad!" Melody drawled. "He saw me getting up to get it so he ran for it!"
Melody sighed and nodded."The rest of the night?!" Brandon exclaimed.
He huffed and sat down on the couch with the iPad.
Caroline yawned as she walked out of her room.
"Hi." She said cutely, rubbing her eyes.
"Markus is keeping me up." She told him.
"He won't let me sleep." She said simply.
She looked up at the ceiling where the attic door was. "Can I go up there?" She asked him.
"I'll ask mom." She walked past him.
"I'll wake her up." She said in a low voice.
She looked at him with a sinister smile.
"I always am. Caroline doesn't like it." She leaned against the wall.
She looked at him with unfamiliar eyes. Her head suddenly whipped to the side. She gasped and held her cheek. "You hit me!"
She started to cry when her head whipped to the side again as if someone hit her. "Stop it!!" She screamed."What in the hell is going on?" Kaya came out of their room, tying a robe around herself.
"He hit me!!!" She cried."He what? Jason?" Kaya looked at him in horror, walking up behind Caroline.
"Then what's she talking about?" She knelt down and touched Caroline's cheek.
"No I mean about her red cheek." She showed him. Caroline's cheek was red.
She looked at him for a few minutes then at Caroline. "Why don't you go downstairs with your siblings?" Caroline nodded. "Okay."
She followed him. "Her cheek says otherwise." Kaya noted.
"Why did she want to wake me?" She asked.
She sighed and laid back on the bed and didn't say anything.
She ran her hands down her face and sighed.
