"And Maria?" She bit her lip and looked up at him.

"I didn't want them in my head in the first place dad." She pouted.
"But I don't know how to make them go away. They always keep talking to me." She sighed.
"I'm going to have a shower." She gathered up some clothes and wiped her wet eyes.
Caroline went into the bathroom to shower. Kaya was working away in her office, writing her book.
Kaya sighed and wheeled around in her computer chair. "That means she heard it then. Not her voice."
"That's good." She smiled and opened up her email then gasped, covering her mouth.
"My book has been approved!!!" She jumped up and squealed happily.
"It's going to be published!!!" She climbed onto his lap and hugged him close, straddling his thighs. "My dream is coming true!"
She kissed him back and smiled widely at him. "What I went through in my life with my dad and my uncle." She murmured.
She nodded. "But I'm writing it for fiction so the characters are made up. It will also be a young adult book so it's more relatable."
She smiled. "Of course. You changed my life Jason." She replied.
"I love you to." She smiled and caressed the side of his face.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly to her chest.
"We have to get up early tomorrow." She sighed against his neck.
"Yeah." She straightened her back. "I know you're not a morning person."
"I'll have them ready for you promise." She kissed his forehead.
"No I'm not." She blushed and looked down at her lap with a small smile.
She smiled at him and kissed his fingers. "I love you to sweetheart."
She looked over at her computer and pursed her lips. "In a few weeks. I have to talk to the publisher about a deadline." ((Let's hear it))
"I've been working on it for a solid year now." She sighed.((Yes!! I like it!))
"I hope so." She smiled.((Do you want to skip to the appointment? And would Jason stay at the hospital with Caroline while that all happens?))
The next morning, their alarm clock blared at 5:45 am. Kaya shifted under the covers and moaned.
"You're awake?" She said in a sleepy voice and sat up.
"Why? Are you alright?" She frowned and turned on the lamp.
"Then I guess she was born with it naturally." She sighed.
"Not always. But I've been starting up some research on my family history on my dads side." She told him, kissing his cheek. "Don't worry. We'll get our answers."
"You can hire a private investigator to find him you know." She told him softly.
"What?!" She shouted and glared down at him. "When? Where?!"
Her mouth snapped shut. "He's....he's dead?" She murmured.
She sighed deeply. "And you chose to tell me now?"
"Jason, I'm your wife. You should be able to tell me anything and anyhow." She told him, her voice a little bit irritated.
"How did you even deal with this on your own? You could have dealt with it with my support honey." She frowned. "But yeah...I understand..I just wish you would have told me at least something."
"While you're at the hospital with Caroline yeah." She nodded,
"I'll meet you downstairs." She kissed him quickly and stood up out of bed.
Kaya woke up Caroline and helped her dress and severed her toast and eggs in the kitchen. Kaya was pouring Jason a cup of coffee.
"Morning." She said around a mouthful of toast. Kaya sipped her own coffee and munched on a piece of toast.
"Go brush your teeth love." Kaya told Caroline after she finished her breakfast. Caroline nodded and padded upstairs.
Kaya stood over the sink as she washed the dishes.
"When is your next therapy meeting?" She asked him as she cleaned a dish.
"Okay." She smiled and dried her hands.
"But you're giving me a look." She smirked.
