She moved off stage once she was done and hugged her friend.

He looked at the program to see what else there was.
She didn’t dance again for at least twenty minutes. She had a solo next.
"You did great! Can't wait to see your solo." He texted her.
She smiled at his text and sent a kiss emoji before going to change,
She giggled and change into a white button dress shirt Mike gave her, a black body suit underneath, and fishnet stockings.
Mike checked his phone while he waited and went through the photos he had taken.
She pulled on her jazz shoes and tied her hair up into a high ponytail. She changed her makeup and checked herself out in the mirror.“They have their own professional pictures too we can buy.” Melody told Mike, looking at his photos.
"I know but I like taking pictures of her. That sounded weirder than I wanted it to." He said.
Melody laughed, making her belly bounce. “You do you.” She smirked.
"Or her." He muttered to himself as he continued scrolling.
His face turned red and he turned his phone off.
She smirked and several minutes later, Alexis went on stage for her jazz solo to the song Man! I Feel Like a Woman by Shania Twain
Mike smiled and recorded her whole performance.
She was sassy and nailed her tricks and left the stage when the routine ended.
He cheered for her more this time than any other. He waited to go down to hear the results.
Awards were soon and Alexis was done for the day. She changed into leggings and a tank top and out on her dance team jacket.
“You did amazing! No doubt you’ll win!!” He texted her.
She smiled at the text and told him to meet her in the lobby.
He got her message and went down to the lobby. It wasn't as packed but some people were leaving.
She walked out to the lobby with a bottle of water.
He walked over to her and hugged her. "You did amazing babe!"
She giggled and hugged him back. “Thank you!”
He kissed her. "I love you. Very much."
“And I love you.” She smiled happily.
"Awards are soon. You should get ready to go out." He said.
"I'll record it for you." He old her.
“You don’t have to record awards/“ she said
"I'll record when you win awards." He said.
He kissed her cheek. "I'll meet you here right after."
“Okay. I love you.” She pecked his lips.
"I love you too." He kissed her back then went back up to the stands.
She smiled and went back to the change room to pack her things.
He sat back down and readied his camera.
All of the dance teams went on stage and sat down.
He started to record. He was on the edge of his seat.
For her jazz trio, they got first. Alexis stood up with her partners and went up to get the award.
She took her award and sat down again. For the big group routine, they got second.
He clapped and cheered, still excited.
For her solo, she got first and a special award for theme.
He stood and cheered while she accepted.
She smiled and took the award and took a picture with the judge.
He sent her congratulation texts knowing she'd see them later.
For her tap duet with her friend Keith, they got first place and two special awards.
He continued to record them and cheered.
