She grabbed a pen and her phone and padded into the open living room. She made sure Finn’s monitor was on.
He made dinner and hummed to himself.
She wrote in her journal then good a Snapchat video of him cooking.
After a few minutes, he brought eggs over to her, just the way she liked them.
“Eggs for dinner?” She asked as she sat up and took the plate.
"One of the best foods for pregnancy." He sat down with her.
She smiled and nodded, forking some into her mouth.
“They’re perfect. Thanks love.” She pecked his lips.
"You're welcome, Hun." He kissed her back and continued to eat the eggs.
David turned the TV on but at a low volume.
She rubbed her belly with a sign.
He finished and set his plate down. "Full?"
"Is he kicking?"He moved closer to her.
He put his hand on her belly and rubbed lightly.
“I don’t want to wait four more weeks. I’m so uncomfortable.” She sighedz
"Maybe he'll be early. Due dates aren't always accurate." He massaged her belly.
She nodded. “June 6th is when he’s due.” She told him. “Finn was early I think.”
"Then there's a chance you won't have to suffer that long," He said.
“all pregnancies are different though.” She said
"He was your first so you hadn't known yet." He shrugged.
"Hopefully Shepard's is as easy." He nodded.
“We shall see.” She gazed down at her belly
"Yes, we shall." He leaned down and kissed her belly.
He sat up and laid his head on her shoulder.
()sure))That weekend, Alexis was awake an 5am in the Saturday. She sighed and rolled over to turn her alarm off.
A text came in from Mike. "You are going to do great today, baby. I can't wait to see you preform."
She squinted at her phone. “I hit the stage for 8. An hour drive though. You riding with us?” She texted back
"Only have a little packing left so I'm going to do as much of that as I can. I'll be there on time though." He sent back.
“Okay babe.” She sent with a kissy emoji. She rolled out of bed with a yawn.
Downstairs Jason was making Alexis's favorite breakfast.
She tied her hair up and pulled on one of mike’s hoodies.
Jason set plates on the table and waited for Alexis.
She went downstairs while yawning loudly. She padded into the kitchen. “You’re up early.” She said.
"We all are. It's a big day." He said. He poured some juice.
"So what have you made this time Sarah?" He asked as he walked into the kitchen.
