He walked over to her and hugged her. "Need to be warmer?"

“Yeah.” She giggled. “I’m cold all of a sudden.”
He hugged her tighter. "Hopefully this help."
She laughed softly and huddled against him. Her hand twitched.
He kissed her cheek. "Let's go tuck them in and then go to bed."
He held her hand and walked upstairs with her.
Noah was laying in bed reading a book.
"Still reading Holes?" Caroline smiled
"Yeah." He was engrossed in the book.
"Well you can finish it up tomorrow, okay?" She sat on the edge of his bed.
He looked over at her and closed his book. "Okay." He set his book on the desk next to his bed.
“Goodnight love.” She leaned over and kissed his head.
"Goodnight Mommy." He smiled up at her. "Goodnight buddy." Peter ruffled Noah's hair.
Caroline smiled and stood, turning off his light. “Door one or closed?” She asked.
"Closed please." He closed his eyes and laid down.
She nodded and closed his door. She scratched her arm as she went into Abby’s room.
Abby was already laying down, almost asleep. "Hey, kiddo," Peter whispered as he sat on her bed.
Caroline turned on her highlight for her and sat beside Peter.“Hey.” Abby smiled.
He got up and turned the light off. "Time for bed." He said to Caroline.
She nodded and dropped her blanket. Her sir was rubbed almost raw. An old scar was even about to bust open.
He noticed her arm in the dim light. "Are you okay?" He asked her. "Are you really okay?"
She gave him a confused look. “Yeah, why?” She went into their bathroom.
He followed her. "Your arm. It doesn't look so good."
She turned the bright bathroom light on and looked at her arm in the mirror. She gasped. “Ah!”
He got out a disinfectant wipe and some bandages. "It's okay. I'm here."
“It was just itchy I didn’t think I was scratching that hard.” She frowned. She lowered her face to her arm, investigating.
He wiped her arm and lightly wrapped her arm up.
She sighed softly. She scratched when she was anxious but never admitted itz
"It's okay." He held her hands. "It's okay."
Her bottom lip quivered. She looked away from him
"Hey," he put his hand on her cheek. "Caroline, it's okay."
She reluctantly looked at him. “You know you can’t say that to me.”
"Why not?" He looked into her eyes.
“A new brain.” She wiped at her eyes.
"Then you wouldn't be you." He told her.
“And that’s so bad?” She bit her lip.
“I want you. All of you. Not one part or anything else.” He lightly squeezed her hands.
"Let's go to bed." He walked to their bedroom.
Caroline nodded. “I need to wash my face.”Alexis kisses him softly. “That was great.”
"Okay." He walked over and changed for bed.Mike kissed her back and smiled. "Yeah, it was."
She brushed her teeth and washed her face. She came back into the bedroom.“I want ice cream anyway so we can stop by the pharmacy.” She said.
Peter climbed into bed and laid down."What kind?" He asked as he straightened her bed.
