"Do you have any suggestions?" He asked her.He turned on a small light and signed 'what's wrong, V?'
"I'm not picky." She said. She stopped crying at the sight of him. She reached out to him. She smelled.
"Okay." He turned on Netflix and searched through the genre. He chose 'Leap Year'.He picked her up and brought her to the changing table.
She smiled and relaxed on him again. Violet rubbed at her eyes while she laid there, making soft moaning noises.
He rubbed her back as he watched. He took her out of her onesie and changed her. He smiled at her.
She found herself dosing off halfway through the movie.She gestured to her mouth, which meant she wanted her pacifier.
He could tell she was falling asleep so he just let her doze off.He grabbed her pacifier from the crib and placed it in her mouth. He finished changing her and grabbed a new onesie for her.
She fell asleep.Violet stuffed it into her mouth and sucked on it.
After a while he could feel himself falling asleep so he turned the TV off. He count get up and carry Alexis so he fixed the blanket, put a pillow under his head and went to sleep.He put her new onesie on and picked her up. 'All better' he signed.
About an hour later, she began to stir. But not because she was waking up. She was having a nightmare.Violet sat up and held onto him.
Mike was sleeping on and off since the couch wasn't that comfortable but he didn't mind as long as Alexis was sleeping fine. When she started to stir he rubbed her back against softly. "It's okay. You're fine. I love you." He whispered to her.He smiled at her and held her. 'Want to see mommy?'
She did stop for a few minutes when he spoke, but then stirred some more, furrowing her brows. 'Mommy.' She signed, nodding.
He kissed her forehead and held her. He knew he couldn't do much but he tried the best he could. "You are perfect."He got up and carried her to the bedroom. He hoped Caroline hadn't fallen asleep just yet.
She flinched just slightly a moment later, waking up. She lifted her head and rubbed at her eyes cutely.Caroline was laying in bed on her phone. When she saw then enter, she grinned. 'Hi baby girl.' She sighed. Violet grinned back, tiredly resting her head on peters shoulder.
"Did I wake you up?" He asked softly. He moved some hair out of her face so he could see her better in the already dark room.He got back in bed and put Violet between them. "She may be hungry, I don't know."
She shook her head. "No, you didn't." She covered her moth while she yawned. "Can we go to bed?" She asked.Caroline nodded and adjusted violets onesie. 'Hungry?' She signed to her.
Violet shook her head and rolled onto her stomach while sucking on her pacifier.
"Yeah we can." He nodded. "I can't get up and carry you like this so you'll have to get up first."
"I guess not." He rubbed Violets back. "I thinkShe likes attention."
She nodded and rolled off of him, catching herself before she would fall. She stood up and straightened her clothes. "The ice cream is melted." She said. Caroline shrugged. "She's a toddler. Of course she does." She rolled onto her side, facing them. "You also know she's always been a attached to us since birth." She said. Violet sat up and climbed into Peter's chest.
"I'll get it in the morning." He got up and stretched a little. He picked up Alexis and carried her to his bedroom."The only time she hasn't been with one of us is when she's sleeping." He put his arms around Violet. "
She nodded and held onto him with a giggle, leaning her head on his shoulder.She sighed softly. "She may throw fits when I'm gone." She murmured. Violet laid on his chest, staring at her mom.
He walked in his new room and laid down on the bed with her still on him. "I'm sure she'll be fine when I'm around. She barely make a noise when I hold her." He said.
She smiled and rolled off of him and got comfy beside him before moving closer, half laying on him.She nodded. "She'll probably ask for me all the time." She said. Violet put a hand on Peter's cheek.
He put his arm around her and kissed her head. He pulled blankets over them."Yeah she will." He put a hand on Violet's and one on Caroline's.
She smiled and snuggled up to him. Caroline sighed deeply, pulling the blankets up to her mouth. "You should see if she wants to go back to her crib."
"Love you." He muttered to her as he hens her.He sat up with Violet. 'Sleep time.' He told her.
"I love you too." She kissed his chin. Violet nodded, leaning over to give Caroline a kiss, which she returned.
He closed his eyes and smiled.He smiled at them and walked back to Violet and Christian's room. He set Violet backdown in her crib.
She closed her eyes and slowly fell back to sleep.When he placed her in her own crib, she whined and reached up to him, jumping up.
He fell asleep with her.Peter shook his head. 'You have to sleep.'
She slept through the night. She pointed at Christian's crib, whining still.
He slept good with her.He put his finger over his lips then signed 'he's sleeping like you should'.
In the morning, their alarm went off for school. She whined, shaking her head. 'Sleep me Christian.' She signed.
Mike was already up getting ready. He was just getting it of the shower.He nodded, understanding her now. He picked her up and put her in the crib with her brother.
She rolled onto her back and rubbed her eyes. She checked her phone like she always does in the morning, then got up to start the coffee.She smiled and sat down in Christian's crib. She then pointed at her blanket in her crib.
Mike came in his he room in a towel to get new clothes. "Good morning beautiful."Peter took the blanket and laid it over the twins. 'Sleep now okay'.
She smiled and adjusted her shirt. Her hair was a mess. "Morning." She walked over to him and pecked his lips. "Sleep okay?"She nodded and snuggled up beside Christian.
He kissed her back and grabbed his clothes. "Perfectly with you." He started changing.He smiled at them then turned on the ceiling stars nightlight and went back to his bedroom.
She smiled. "I'm going to make some coffee and some breakfast." She said, then went into the kitchen.Caroline was still awake, waiting for him.
"There's coffee already made. I didn't have enough time to make anything wise though." He said, finishing changing."She's laying down and hopefully sleeping with her brother." He said as he got in bed.
"Oh okay." She said. She grabbed a pan and put it on the oven, and grabbed some eggs. "She's in Christians crib again?" She rolled over to face him.
He followed her out to the kitchen to help her make breakfast. "You should go shower and change, I'll do this."He nodded. "I can't get her to lay down any other way." He told her.
She looked over at him. "Are you sure? I was going to get ready at home; I don't have any of my clothes here.""She's so sweet." She smiled. "I hope they keep their bond."
"You did leave some here. The bottom right of the top drawer I think." He said to her."You think it will be difficult for them to date someone with a bond like theirs?" He asked.
"Oh, okay." She said. "Okay I'll get ready then." She kissed his cheek.She shook her head. "I think it'll be fine."
He smiled at her and continued to make breakfast for them."How were you and Melody?" He asked.
She smiled and went into the bathroom, where she quickly showered."We were close as we could be until I started to act out." She said. "Melody was scared of me for a while but she realized that I needed her more than anything." She said. "She's my best friend and always will be."
He made her eggs and toast. He put plates on the counter."I think they've be very close because Violet is deaf. They could talk without taking." He said.
She came out a few minutes later dressed in capris overalls with a stripped shirt underneath. Her hair wasn't wet since she didn't wash it.She nodded. "They'll definitely have a unique bond." She agreed.
"Hey don't call her that." She said, but she was smiling.
Violet was standing up in her crib, holding onto the bars of her crib. Christian was still sleeping.
