Kaya brought over a mug for Peter and Caroline filled with tea. It was in the middle of the day so the kids wer at school and the twins were napping upstairs.
"Thanks mom." Caroline murmured, taking the tea. She had a fit the previous night. She looked really tired.

"Thanks, Kaya." Peter took the mug and sipped his tea. "I'm sure Caroline has told you what the doctor recommended."

Caroline looked up. Her hair was a mess and she looked like shit. "They did? I'm not under 18 anymore! They can't do that!" She exclaimed.

Peter reached for Caroline's have but wasn't sure if she would like it.

"You had an episode last night." Kaya said, then looked at Peter. "How bad was it?" She asked.

"Care…you always hated when we got involved in your personal life but now we are. We have to." Jason told her.

"That's the point, Caroline." Kaya said. "We dont want a worse one to come around where you hurt yourself again or even worse; hurt the kids." Kaya admitted.

"We want what's best for you and the kids." Jason said.

Kaya flinched. "Caroline, please sit down." Her voice broke a little.

Jason watched them.

Kaya wiped at her eyes. She gripped Jason's hand.

Jason squeezed her hand.

"Caroline, no you're not. We're trying to help you. We tried this before when you were a teenager but of course you wouldn't have any of it. And, you had less people to harm and we were able to get you on some good meds so we handled it. But now you're married and with a family that we know you love even if you think you can't love them." Kaya said.

"Do it for Noah, Abby, Christian, and Violet." Jason said.

"They offer a three month trial." Kaya pulled out the forms and pamphlets. "You're allowed visitors but only after the first two weeks. You can three calls a week, and if you show improvement the first three months, they can look into doing something closer to home where you can see Peter and all of us while seeing a doctor twice a week."

Jason nodded. "Think of it as a spa get away. You do it because you need to get away a relax even though you'll miss everyone."

Kaya sighed. "Are you seeing people again?" She asked gently.
She shook her head. "No." She said honestly.
Kaya nodded. "Okay so it's not a spa but it's like a hotel," she showed her some pictures. "We can tour the place before you're admitted of course so you can get a feel for it. There's a pool, a gym, a library; many places to sit and watch tv and monitored internet access. And you're room has its own bathroom with a double bed and a small kitchen-no stove of course- for meal prepping,"

"We'll be with you every step of the way. Jason said.
