She smiled and nodded. "I like the idea. As long as you don't go too far away." She said."Thank you." She blushed, smiling. She picked up Christian when he waddled over.
She pulled away with a tired smile.
"I'll be closer to you." He smiled.He smiled at Christian.
He went back to eating his cake.
She smiled and nodded, Caroline smiled.
She nibbled on her cake.
((When Brandon and Jess get home?))
((Ok))Brandon unlocked the door then let Jess walk in the apartment first. "I'm going to shower then change. You can make yourself at home."
Jessica nodded and sat her bag on the couch. She yawned while she went into the kitchen.
He went to the bathroom and got in the shower.
She grabbed herself a glass of water and an apple, then curled on up his living room couch.
He finished a few minutes later then went to change. He walked into the living room with a change of cloths for her.
She looked over at him. "Thank you but just a shirt of yours for bed will be fine." She said. She was wearing leggings and a hoodie.
"Good thing I brought one." He gave her one of his shirts and sat next to her.
She smiled and took it, folding it over the the arm of the couch for when she wanted to change.
"I'm sorry for what I said at the party." He told her.
She shook her head. "I'm sorry for acting the way I did".
He took her hand. "It's fine. I shouldn't have said what I said.
"You just know I don't like that subject". She said. "Being with your family is great but it's also hard for me to how happy you all are."
"I know." He nodded. "I don't know why, but there's a part of me that hopes something will happen but the other part know that it won't so…" he shook his head. "I'm sorry. I'm not handling it like I should and you don't deserve that."
She wiped at her eyes. "You deserve someone who can give you what you need". She sniffled.
"I want to marry you Jess. No matter how I feel or what happens. I want to be with you for the rest of my life." He squeezed her hand and looked at her.
"But I don't think I can give you a family." She cried. "And you deserve the best family." She pulled her hand away.
"All I want is you. You're the only family I need. I don't care if it's only us. I care about you." He put his hands on her cheeks. "I love you."
She sobbed loudly and pressed her face against his chest. She cried for a few minutes, sniffling and shaking.
He held her tightly and kissed her head. He rubbed her back lightly. "I love you Jessica."
"I-I-don't d-deserve you." She cried, gripping his shirtZ
"Yes you do." He wiped tears from her cheeks. "I will try everyday to be the man you deserve."
She smiled a little through her tears then wiped her face with her arms. "Did you just propose to me?"
He nodded. "I think I just did." He reached over into a drawer and pulled out a small box. "I guess I can give this to you now."
She gasped and sat up, covering your mouth. "Oh my god I didn't think- Brandon!"
He opened the box. "I just got it a moth ago. I figured it was time." He smiled at her.
"We're still in school." She told him. She wiped at her face again. Her hair was falling out of its bun. She bit her lip.
"I'm done after this year. We don't have to get married right away. We can wait a little." He took her hand.
She nodded. "I want to travel," she said. "With you." She gave him her hand.
He slid the ring on her finger. "That sounds perfect." He smiled at her.
She stared down at the ring. She loved how simple it was but it was still obvious that it was an engagement ring. "Brandon it's beautiful." She flexed her fingers.
"I knew it was the right one for you. I know you're not that fond of diamond rings because of that DiCaprio movie so I made sure it was legit." He told her.
She giggled and nodded. "Did I ruin a proposal plan?" She asked
"I was still trying to come up with one. I was either going to lay on the bed covered in your favorite flowers or take you to your favorite library." He chuckled.
"Oh wow. So different". She smirked.
He nodded. "I had to have clothes on for one of the options."
She smiled and nodded, sniffling.
He kissed her cheek lightly. "I love you."
She kissed his lips. "I love you so much," she whispered
He kissed her back. "I don't doubt it."
She pulled away a little and studied the ring with a small smile. "Want to tell your family?"
"Let's wait till we see them again. They'd like to know in person." He said to her.
He nodded. "It was good."
He kissed her back lightly.
