"Oh don't be such a baby:" Abby scoffed."Hey; don't start." Kaya warned as she picked up the empty plates of cake:
"You kick me in your sleep every time we share a bed." Noah told Abby.
"Well you use to pee the bed." She stuck her tongue out at him.
"You used to cry about your mommy." He stuck his tongue back at her."Okay that enough you two. Definitely time for bed." Jason said.
Abby frowned deeply. Tears gathered in her eyes. "How dare you!" She shouted, then ran away, stomping out the front door while crying.
Peter came down the stairs just to see Abby get up and leave. "Abby wait!" He followed after her."Sorry." Noah said quietly.
Abby ran down to the edge of the driveway and plopped down on the lawn, crying loudly."Noah!" Caroline came down the stairs. "What did you say to her?"
"Well, I think we should go upstairs now." Alexis said to mike.
"Abby!" Peter walked over to her. "Hey, baby, it's okay."He hugged her.
"I just said she used to cry about her mommy I didn't think she'd do that." He pulled his knees to his chest and hid his face."
Mike nodded and walked with her upstairs.
She leaned into him, "he made fun of me for crying about mommy." She cried.Caroline sighed. She crouched down in front of him. "Do you remember what we told you about Abby's mommy?"
Alexis pushed her door open and turned on her bedroom light.
He held her and rubbed her back. "It's perfectly fine if you do. You shouldn't feel bad about it." He told her. "Did you know that I cried about her sometimes.""Yes but I said it before I could stop." He voice was muffed.
"This is my favorite room." He sat in her chair.
"Do you still?" She asked, sniffling.Caroline nodded. "I know honey. You know why Abby is upset though, right?" She touched his arm.
"Compared to who's?" She smirked.
"Not as much now that I'm with Caroline but sometimes when I think about her I get sad." He told her.He lifted his head and nodded. "Yeah."
"All the others." He checked under her desk for his bag.
"Would you rather be with mommy if she was still here?" Abby asked.She nodded and gently hugged him. "I know you didn't mean it baby. But you have to be careful okay?"
She nodded and took a pair of sweatpants out of her dresser.
He paused and thought for a minute. "I would be with mommy if she was here. But now I'm with Caroline and I wouldn't have it any other way. Isn't Caroline a mommy to you?" He hugged her back. "Okay mommy."
He started to change into shirts and a shirt.
Abby nodded. "Yeah. I love Caroline." She told him. "And Noah and the babies." She kissed his head. "How get your Jammie's on okAy? And apologize properly to Abby when she comes back inside."
She changed her pants and peeled off her shirt then opened her closet.
"Want to go back inside now? It's kinda cold out here?" He asked her.He nodded and went to go change.
He changed and laid on he bed. "I love you."
"Yeah," she nodded. Caroline sighed softly, watching him go.
She pulled on a tank top and blushed. "I love you to".
He picked her up and brought her back inside.Mike checked his phone.
Caroline cleaned up the living room a little, helping Kaya.Melody closed her eyes and frowned a little, breathing deeply.
Peter set Abby down once they were inside. "Go change, I'll make the bed.David came back down once Finn was asleep.
Abby nodded and went to her backpack where she pulled out her pajamas. "You okay Mel? "Caroline asked.
She nodded. "I just dont feel too well."
Peter started to make the bed. David walked over to Melody. "You should sit down."
Melody nodded. 'I think I'm going to head to bed early." She said.
"Okay. I'll help everyone clean up and then I'll be up." David told her.
"Okay. Goodnight everyone." SHe waved and then went upstairs. "Better keep an eye on her. She works herself to much." Kaya said to David.
"I try to take a load off as much as I can." David said.
Kaya nodded and covered the now bed with a few blankets. She put a long body pillow in the middle to keep the kids separated.
David helped in the kitchen then went upstairs. Noah came back in in pajamas and climbed in the bed.
Melody was dressed in a night-shirt. She took off her glasses and climbed into her old bed.Abby soon joined, stepping into the room shyly.
David changed into pajama pants and a shirt before getting in bed.Noah looked over at Abby. "I'm sorry Abby."
Melody yawned and laid down, curling up into a ball. "You can stay up with the boys if you want." She said. Abby nodded. "It's okay."
David moved over so he was holding Melody. "I just want to be with you."Noah nodded and slowly moved to lay down.
She leaned back against him. "You are with me." She giggled.Caroline tucked the kids in. "No talking okay? It's late,"
"Then I'm happy. Merry Christmas." He smiled and kissed her shoulder.Noah pulled his blanket over him. "Okay mommy."
Melody shifted over so she was facing him. "Merry christmas." She smiled. She pecked his lips. She kissed each of them. "I'll see you in the morning okay?"
He ran his fingers over her cheek and kissed her back lightly."Okay mommy. Goodnight." He turned over and closed his eyes.
She pulled away after a moment and smiled.She turned off the living room lights.
"Goodnight". Abby yawned.
Alexis crawled into bed with her laptop. "Netflix?"
"I love you." He muttered to her."Goodnight Abby." Noah whispered after Caroline left.
Mike nodded. "Sure. We have any shoes to watch?"
"I love you." She repeated. "Can you rub my tummy?" She asked softly."Goodnight Noah." Abby smiled.
Caroline said goodnight to her parents and Brandon and Jessica.
"We can watch Black Mirror." She said.
"Absolutely," he smiled. He put his hand on her belly and started to rub lightly.Peter was in the kitchen talking to Brandon.
He nodded. "Okay. Did we start it or no?"
She smiled and closed her eyes sighing softly. "I have some names I like." She said. "I'm going to get our bed ready in the basement." Caroline told Peter from the doorway.
"I think we only watched the first episode." She said
"And what are they?" He asked, moving his hand over different areas on her stomach. He nodded. "Okay. I'll come down when I'm done."
"That was when it first came out I probably won't remember a thing," Mike said.
"For a boy, I really love the name Frazer." She told him. She nodded and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge before heading downstairs.
"Lets rewatch it then". She said
"Uncommon. I like it. I like Sebastian," he suggested. "What about a girl?"Peter continued his talk.
"That sounds good." Mike nodded.
She smiled. "I like it. For a girl I like Emma." She said. Alexis nodded and adjusted her pillows for them to lounge against.
"It's nice. I like Lacey." He smiled.He cuddled up with her so they could both be comfortable.
She crinkled her nose. "Hmm, I don't know about that one." Alexis snuggled up to him and held her phone out above them and took a picture of them on Snapchat.
"What about Gwen?" He asked her.Mike kissed her cheek for the picture.
"Good." Noah nodded.
