Finn cuddled against his chest, whining a little. Melody opened the bathroom door with a toothbrush in her mouth. "He okay?"
She giggled and pulled away when there was a knock at the door.
He nodded. "Just woke up." He continued to sing to his son. "Foods here. Go get it." He got the room ready for the food.
She nodded and kept the door open while she spat in the sink and rinsed out her mouth. She rubbed some dry shampoo into her hair, then brushed it out. Finn began to fall back asleep.
She nodded and let the person in.
He smiled at Finn as he sang and rocked him.Peter told David and Melody that the food was there.
"Coming." She said to them. "All set?"
David set Finn back down once he was asleep again and then walked out in the main room.Peter sat their plates and was putting food on his.
She followed him out. "Mmmm yummy,"Caroline helped him.
"This smells so good." He got his plate. "We thought you'd like it." Peter said.
Melody got her plate and a bottle of water. She sat on the couch."You're eating for two now Melody." Caroline teased.
David got his food and drink and sat next to her.Peter sat in a chair across from them.
Melody giggled and cut up her steak into pieces before eating one. Caroline sat on the floor in front of the coffee table.
"If would be surprising if she was eating for three." David chuckled."That's really would." Peter said.
Both sisters looked at their husbands with straight faces. "No."
"You don't have to tell me." David said, eating his stake.Peter nodded, taking a drink.
"Twins don't work like that anyways." She said. "The gene usually skips a generation." Melody said while she ate. "Well it didn't skip me." She mumbled.
"Yeah hopefully it was just a weird coincidence." David took a drink."It would be weird if one of our kids had twins." Peter said.
Melody nodded and chewed what she had in her mouth."That's true." Caroline said. She finished her plate and wiped her mouth with a napkin.
David looked at the TV and saw they had some video of Melody's concert on. The volume wasn't up so he didn't know what they were saying.Peter continued eating.
Melody looked at the tv too. "What are they saying?" She asked.Caroline tried to look for the remote.
"I'm guessing it's about your announcement." David said.Peter found the remote and turned the volume up slightly.
"Probably she said.Caroline poured herself a glass of wine.
The story was in fact about Melody's announcement. "News does travel fast." David said. "Oh yes it does." Peter nodded.
"With her first son not even a year old yet, will she be able to keep up with them while maintaining her career and body? Let us know on our Facebook page." Melody sighed and poked at her food.
Caroline sipped her wine, shrugging.
"Well of course you can. You have me and your family." David said.Peter continued to eat while looking between them.
"I'm going comment." Caroline pulled out her phone "Care stop." She sighed
"That's not the best thing to do." David said."I agree." Peter nodded.
"What? She asked us a question and I'm answering." She smirked. She opened up Facebook on her phone. Melody sighed and let her.
"At least they aren't spreading rumours." David said."That's the last thing we need." Peter nodded.
"There's already been plenty of rumours." Melody sighed.
"What was the most memorable?" David asked her.
"Hmm, probably the time where you left me for Leah again after I had Finn." She shrugged.Caroline me typed away on her phone, holding it close to her face.
"Well that rumour was shut down pretty quickly." Sadie nodded.Peter leaned over to see what she was was typing.
Melody nodded and finished the rest of her dinner. She furrowed her brows a little, thinking."There's also the one where you're actually married to me, not her." Caroline said. "But that was is an obvious one, considering we're identical." She said as she typed: Melody Reed is not going to lose her career by having a family with her husband. Even with Finn as old as he is, she looks super hot and is tiny as she was before being pregnant; its in our genes.
"I believe there was one where I Leah was Finns mother. That was interesting." He chuckled.Peter read her comment and nodded. "Nice response."
Melody just nodded. She picked up her plate and took it to the small kitchen. "Thanks". Caroline smiled and hit send. She then kissed his cheek.
David took his plate and followed Melody."You're welcome." He smiled and kissed her forehead. "After having a baby you always look great if not even better."
She rinsed it off in the sink and then washed her hands, not saying anything."Again, it's our fabulous genes." She smiled. "I did put on a little weight from the twins though." She said. She only has slightly bigger thighs and boobs. Other than that, she was perfectly thin and healthy. "Oh; and the medicine."
He set his plate on the counter. "You okay?" He asked softly.""You always look perfect to me." Peter told her."
He kissed cheek.
Melody sighed and nodded. "Yeah, I'm okay. I just haven't thought about what we've been through in a long time." "Thank you." She smiled and leaned into him.
He put an arm around her. "I know it hasn't been easy but in the end, things have a way of going right."Peter held her and sighed happily. "Always."
She nodded and leaned into him. "I know." She said. She then looked up at him. "Can you help me with my eye drops?"She smiled and snuggled into him.
He kissed her head and nodded. "Yeah. They're in you're bag right?""Let's put our plates snd food away. Then we'll cuddle." He said.
"Yeah; I need to remove my makeup first." She said. "We'll be back guys," Melody said while she led David into their room.Caroline nodded and stood up.
"Okay." David checked on Finn while Melody took her makeup off.Peter bright his plate to the sink and rinsed it off, then went into his and Carolines room.
Melody took off her makeup and washed her face. She then went into their room and changed into sweat pants and a tank top. She tied her hair up into a bun and sat on their bed. Caroline did the same and followed, turning on the bedroom light. "I'll never get over how nice this room is." She peaked into the bathroom. "Oh my god it's huge!"
He changed into sweatpants but didn't put a shirt on since it was warm. He got her eye drops from her bag and walked over to her."I could really make a joke right there but I'm not. Just know I could." He chuckled. He got his clothes out.
She smiled and tilted her face up towards him, opening her eyes."Since when does something stop you from saying a joke?" She smirked. She went to her own bag and took out her pajamas.
He put his hand on her cheek and dropped two small drops in each eye." Good?" David asked her."You know exactly what stops me from saying jokes." He changed into shorts and a t-shirt.
She stayed still and blinked when he dropped the liquid in. She nodded and straightened, wiping under her eyes. "I sometimes also forget that I was blind." She murmured."No I don't." She said innocently, smiling. She took off her top and bottoms.
