He smiled and watched her walk away before focusing on Finn.

"So how's everything been?" Caroline asked. She sat down in a chair. In the distance, Melody violin could be heard.
"Things have been great. Melody's schedule has been packed which is for something's." he said to them. "How are the kids?" He asked.
"They're good." Caroline smiled. "The babies are walking and learning to talk." She smiled."Mama." Finn reached up to the speakers above them where she heard Melody performing.
"That's great. We should have a play date some time." He suggested. He smiled at Finn.
"Yeah." She smiled.((Sorry, wasn't notified.))
Caroline smiled at Finn too. "Yeah that's mommy." She cooed.
"How are Brandon and his girlfriend? We have t seen them in a while. Actually I don't think Melody and I have met his girlfriend." David said.
"I think they're okay." Caroline said. "Still together." She shrugged.
"Are they babysitting the kids tonight?" He asked. "If it wasn't to late I was wondering if we could stop by and see them."
"Well she still lives at home so yeah. Mom and dad are initially watching them though." Caroline said. She smiled at Finn who was staring up at the speakers where his mother's voice now came from.
"Okay." David nodded."I just relived I left something in the car. I'll be right back." Peter kissed Caroline's cheek and walked away.
Caroline nodded to Peter while she bounced Finn. "Melody looks a little funny to me." Caroline randomly said. "Not bad; just...different, if that makes sense." She shrugged.
"What's different?" He asked her. He looked out on stage to Melody.
"I'm not quite sure." She also watched her sister performing one of her popular vocal songs. "It's a twin thing." She shrugged.
He nodded. "So how are you doing?" He asked. He looked over at her for a second.
She smiled a little. "I'm doing okay. I had my medication changed." She said. "The side effects aren't great but I'm functioning." She told him.
"That's good. I'm glad you're better." He smiled back.Peter walked back over. "Brandon and his girlfriend are great with kids. I know they'll be great parents."
"Don't get to ahead of yourself." Caroline giggled. "They've only been together for a year." She said.
"They've been dating for a year but they've been 'together' for longer than that." David smirked."I'm surprised they don't have a kid already." Peter chuckled.
"Is that a West family joke?" Caroline grinned but glared at Peter at the same time. Melody was still doing a few more songs, testing out the mics.
"Maybe." David looked back over towards Melody.Peter put his arms around Caroline. "You tell me."
"Well Alexis doesn't have a baby so." She shrugged, then looked at Peter. "Pardon?" ((The second to last word in your post gets cut off))
"It's good that she doesn't. She has a future and can go far." Peter said. "What?"
"Never mind." Caroline said.Melody came back, slightly out of breath. "Hey." She said.
"Taking a break or done warming up?" David asked. He grabbed a water bottle for her."You sure?" Peter asked.
"All done." She took the bottle. "They're gonna start letting people in.""Yeah." She smiled.
"Well then let's go to your room and get you ready." He smiled.He nodded and kissed her head. "I've always wanted to be in a stars dressing room."
"I wouldn't call myself a star." Melody smirked. She nodded at David and followed a security guard to back to her dressing room.
David followed Melody."This place was almost sold out. You're kind of a star." He said.
"Hmm." Melody hummed but was smiling. She was already changed and ready to go. She took out her other violin and tuned it.Caroline bounced Finn, humming.
David sat down and looked over at Finn.Peter stood next to Caroline.
Melody then fixed her makeup and did vocal exercisesZ"Finn is so cute." Caroline smiled at him.
David smiled at Melody."Yeah he is. Not as cute as Violet or Christian. But still cute." Peter said.
"Melody stopped and took deep breaths. "I'm nervous." She said to David."That's true." She smiled.
"I know. But you'll be great. You always are." He took her hand.Peter kissed Caroline's head.
Caroline leaned into him. "You're never nervous Mel." She said."Well I am now." She shrugged.
"You can do it. Just imagine you're singing for Finn." David said.
"But he's a baby." She giggled, People could be heard filling the stadium.
"Yeah but.... I don't have to be good for him." She shrugged. "We'll have you be ready backstage in fifteen." The guy running the show told Mel.
"You do when you are putting him to sleep." He said.
Melody's eyes randomly started to water. "Oh stop." She sniffled.
"Hey. Look at me." He put his hands on her cheeks. "You are going to be great. There has never once been a time when you weren't. I believe in you and so does Caroline, Peter, and especially Finn end me."
