She laughed and gave Finn another chunk. She then sipped her drink.
"yummy." She smiled. She hooked her phone up to the radio and played some of her songs, singing along with them.
He smiled and hummed along. He looked in the mirror to see if Finn was trying to sing along.
Finn smiled, chewing on his fist. ""Mommy." He said cutely."Yeah that's mommy!" Melody giggled.
He nodded. "Can't wait till he figures out his mommy is a superstar."
"And his daddy is also one. Even if you don't sing anymore." She shrugged. She put her glasses on, which she usually needed to wear all the time but didn't always.
"I was. Now I'm just part of your management team." He pulled up to the place.
She nodded. "We have that one song together though." She noted.((Never Forget You by Zara Larson and MNEK))
"Yeah." He parked and got out then got Finn. "We should maybe work on another in the future."
"Yeah." She agreed. She put her hood up and got out of the car because of the paparazzi. A person on her management team came up and she told him to take their car to their hotel to drop off their things in the room they had.
David held Finn behind him and walked with Melody backstage.
Melody made sure to grab her bag and violins. Once she as inside, she put everything in a back room where she was to get ready.
He sat down and took Finn out of his carrier. "That wasn't so bad."
Melody nodded and sat her things down. A few or her dancers came to say hi. She hugged them all and chatted with them.
He pulled out some of Finns toys and played with him while Melody got ready.
Melody took off her classes and changed into black bootie shorts and a graphic tee. For the first half of her performance she was gonna play her violin hits, and the second half her vocal songs. For the first half, she put on simple black Converse and a red checkered flannel.
"You look great." David told her after he looked over at her. "You always do."
She blushed and shrugged. "Thanks. I'm gonna wear my thigh high heeled boots for the last half." She said. She took off her wedding ring and exchanged it with a simpler ring with a pearl in the middle. "The auditorium is empty still; wanna take Finn onto the stage?" She asked.
"Nice." He nodded and stood up, carrying Finn. He walked out onstage and looked around.
Melody followed. Her dancers were already there, as was her band. Melody smiled at the empty room. She walked centre stage.
He walked off the he side and down into the stands. He stood and watched the stage with Finn.
"No no let him crawl up here." She walked to the edge and reached down to him.
"Okay." He have Finn to Melody for him to crawl.
Melody stepped back a little and put Finn down, watching him crawl around curiously."He's the star of the show!" Caroline bellowed from the back of the theatre.
"He always will be." David laughed.
"Hey!" Melody waved at them.Caroline ran up to the stage, climbing onto it. She hugged her sister. "Hey to you to." She giggled.
David shook with hands with Peter and they joined the twins on stage.
"Hey little guy." Caroline scooped up Finn. "You're getting so big!" "Says you who has two fourteen month old's walking." Melody smirked.
"Finn is close." David said."They also had two siblings to teach them." Peter told them.
((My notifications are being weird))"That's true." Melody said, then waved to Peter. "Hey." She smiled.
((Mine are fine.))"Hello." Peter have Melody a hug. "Caroline has been listening to nothing but your music for the last forty-eight hours."
((wait nvm))Melody laughed, hugging him back. "I'm not surprised."
"Hey I've been listening to your music since the beginning." Caroline said. 'Especially the song about me." She smiled.
"Which song was that?" David asked, trying to think of all of Melody's songs."Peter to Finn to hold.
"Alive" both Melody and Caroline said at the same time. Finn reached out to Peter, grinning.
"Oh yeah that's a great song." David nodded.Peter smiled and pretended to nibble on Finns fingers.
Melody smiled at him then reached down for his hand. "Come up here."Finn giggled and huddled against Caroline.
David took her hand since he was already on stage.Peter smiled at Finn and Caroline.
Melody kissed him lightly on the lips and took out her phone. She opened up herself Snapchat and put the front face camera on. "Three hours until the show! Just hanging out here on stage." She moved around to get everyone on the shot. Caroline smiled, leaning her chin on her sisters shoulder. "I'll be taking over her snapchat while she's performing to show you some behind the scenes action!"
David kissed her back and followed her. "Also don't forget to follow Melody on all her other social media accounts for other backstage fun and other fun stuff.
Melody laughed and made a funny face before the video ended. She uploaded it to her story, and her Instagram account. "Melody; we're gonna let people in within the hour so whenever you're ready, come on back stage." One of her people said. "Yeah sure." Melody smiled.
"I guess stage time is over." David followed Melody backstage.Peter followed with Caroline.
Melody went back into the room where her stuff was and took out her black and white violin. "Im assuming we're going to rehearse a few songs before the show." She said.
David nodded. "We'll be standing by." He told her.
Melody nodded and took a few minutes to tune her violin.
David stood with Caroline and Peter.
Caroline played with Finn,Once she was ready, Melody stood up and took a deep breath. "I'll come back down here before the show actually starts." She said.
"Okay. We'll be over here." David told her.Peter played with Finn with Caroline.
She kisses David the finns head before leaving.
