She smiled and finished eating. She took her plate to the sink and rinsed it. She then grabbed Finns empty plate, doing the same. She went back to him with a damp cloth and used it to clean his hands and face.
David finished and put his plate in the sink. "You go shower. I'll get Finn ready." He told her.
She nodded and turned to him, wrapping her arms around his waist. She pecked him on the lips. "I love you." She smiled.
He put his arms around her and kissed her back. "I love you too." He smiled at her.
She kissed him one more time before moving away, heading down the hallway toward their bedroom.
He finished wiping Finn off before getting him out his his chair. David brought him to Finn's room and set him on the changing.
Melody thoroughly showered, singing as she did.Finn smiled up at his dad, kicking his legs and squeaking.
He smiled at Finn as he listened to Melody. He grabbed clothes out for him and changed him out of his onesie.
Finn rolled onto his stomach, giggling.
He chuckled and changed him. He brought him back into the living room.
Melody came into the living room a few minutes later, dressed in a robe and with her hair in a towel. She looked a little nervous.
David looked over at her as she walked in. "You okay." He saw that she was nervous.
She nodded, smiling shyly. "Yeah I'm okay." She sat on the couch and rubbed cream into her legs.
"You sure." He sat next to her with Finn in his lap.
"Yeah. I always feel this way before a concert." She told him. She rubbed some lotion into finns arms, making him giggle.
He kissed her cheek. "You'll do great." He bounced Finn on his lap.
"thanks." She smiled. She watched Finn with a small smile.
"You're welcome." David grabbed a toy from the floor and gave it to Finn.
Finn grabbed the toy and chewed on it.""He looks so much like you." She said softly.
"He does have your eyes." David smiled at her, looking into her eyes.
She smiled and nodded. His eyes were bright blue. "I'm gonna go get dressed." She kissed his cheek then Finn's head. She went He the bedroom.
"Okay." He watched her walk away then continued to play with Finn.
She changed into leggings and one of her tour t shirts. She brushed out her hair and then French braided it. She came back out to the living room with her makeup bag.
"You look great." He smiled at her. He was laying on his back on the floor with Finn on his chest.
She smiled and sat beside him, leaning ack against the couch. She pulled out a small mirror. "Thanks."
"You're welcome." He picked Finn up and had his stand on his chest.
She did her makeup while he played with Finn. Finn giggled and bounced up and down.
He smiled at Finn moved his chest up and down.
Finn squealed and giggled, wiggling around.Melody finished her makeup and packed everything up.
David picked Finn up then sat up next to Melody.
Melody kissed David's head then kissed finns. "I gotta pack up my stuff." She said.
"Mines already in the car along with Finns." He told her.
She nodded. "The hotel is booked too." She told him. "We have our own room but we will be sharing the suit with Caroline and Peter." She pulled out her phone and texted her sister.
"Well there goes a fun night." He chuckled. "It'll be fun,"
"Yeah. I mean we'll have Finn with us but it'll still fun." She said.
He nodded. "It's always a fun night."
"Isn't there a small after party?" He asked her.
He nodded. "Okay. We'll just se how it goes."
"We've got Mr. Finnbot to take care of." She tickled his tummy, making him squeal and splutter.
"We should have Brandon and his girlfriend babysit Finn for a night and we should go out." He thought about what they could do.
"I don't know:" she said. "I think a family night will be nice. I'm pretty tired after I perform anyway." She told him.
"I know but I'm taking about another night where it can just be us two again." He took her hand. "We haven't had a night to ourselves in a while."
She smiled and nodded, squeezing his hand. "At least we keep on the sex." She smirked.
He smirked and nodded. "Yeah but it usually last no longer than ten minutes."
She scoffed. "You mean you last no longer than ten minutes." She stuck out her tongue.
"I could keep going but you get tired or Finn starts to cry." He chuckled. "I mean sometimes I can't go on but that's not often."
She frowned. "Great not I feel bad.." she trailed off.
