He put his arm around her and kissed he cheek.((I'll try to be on later))
She smiled and leaned into the kiss.
"Don't you have your concert tonight?" He asked her.
She nodded. "I do. Hopefully my headache will go away before then." She mumbled.
"I'm sure it will. Caroline and Peter are coming." He kissed her shoulder.
"Yeah. Don't you remember inviting them? Or I did and it was supposed to be a surprise." He said.
"No I knew they wanted to but it wasn't for sure." She said.
"Yeah. Brandon and his girlfriend are watching the kids. Maybe after the concert we could try to visit then." He suggested.
"If it's not to late." She agreed. She took Finn off her breast and sat up to burp him.
"Do you want a towel or something? So he doesn't get spit-up on things." He said.
He got up and grabbed a towel for her. He draped it over her shoulder.
She put Finn over the towel and rubbed his back while patting it at the same time. He spat up after a few minutes.
She flopped Finn onto his stomach and got out of bed to use the bathroom.Finn smiled and pulled on David's collar.
He smiled at Finn and tickled his feet. "Hey little man."
Finn squealed and giggled. He rolled off his dad and crawled around on the bed.
He made sure he didn't fall off the bed and prefect to try to catch Finn as he crawled around.
Melody came back and stood by the side of the bed. She reached for Finn and made him stand up on their bed, holding his hands.
He smiled and watched them, standing on the other side.
Finn grinned and smiled."two more months and he'll be one." Melody said.
David walked over and hugged her from behind. "Yup."
Melody picked Finn up and hugged her to him. "Our little family." She sighed.
"Are we going to stay little or grow a little?" He asked her.
She shrugged. "I'd want another when Finn is a little older." SHe said,. She helped Finn bounce up and down.
"Sounds good. We should get ready for your rehearsal." He said.
She nodded and picked up Finn. "You can shower first. I'll make some food." She smiled.
"Okay." He kissed her cheek then kissed Finn's head before heading to the shower.
She smiled and carried Finn into the kitchen. They lived in a penthouse apartment. She put Finn in the living room, on a blanket and on his belly for tummy time. She made sure she could see him from the kitchen as she prepared breakfast.
He got in the showers and took a little time to finally fully wake up. After a few minutes he he finished and got dressed.
Melody make pancakes and eggs. She put everything on the table then checked on Finn.
David walked into the kitchen to see how breakfast was then went to play with Finn. "It looks good." He told Melody.
"Thanks." She smiled. She made them both coffee. She did some vocal exercises while she did.Finn just learned how to crawl and few weeks ago. He crawled around, making random noises.
"I think he's trying to sing with you." David chuckled. He sat a few feet from Finn and watched him crawl.
Melody giggled. "I know it's so cute." She said. "Breakfast is ready." She announced. Finn found a toy truck and chewed on it.
He smiled at Finn and picked him up. He brought him over to his highchair and strapped him in.
Melody put a plate of small pieces of pancake onto the tray in front of Finn, then sat down in front of her own plate.
David sat down and watched Finn a little before starting to eat. "It's really good."
"Thanks babe." She smiled. She ate her breakfast, occasionally sipping her coffee. Finn ate his pancake squares, smoking.
He drank some of his coffee and ate. He looked over the newspaper and sat a small article on Melody. He handed her the newspaper. "Think you should read it."
"Is it good or bad?" She turned to paper so she could read it. She pulled her glasses on to be able to read it.
"I didn't read it. I just saw it was about you." He said as he sipped his coffee.
"Melody Read, violin and vocal phenomena kicks off her tour right here at home. Tickets are sold out.." she started to read.
He listened to her read and nodded. "Sounds like a good article."
She nodded, reading the rest in silence. "Just saying a bit about how I got to where I am today." She shrugged. She moved the paper back to him. "Save that page so I can keep it in my collection." She said.
