He smiled at while he waited for the popcorn.

She took out her phone and texted he kids to update them.
He put the popcorn in a large bowl and right it over. He sat backdown.
She sat up a little and leaned against him, digging a hand into the bowl.
He put his arm around her and played the movie. He ate with her.
He smiled and kissed her cheek. "I love you."
"Not more than I love you." He smirked.
"No as I you do love me more or no as in I love you more?" He asked.
He shook his head. "Nope. I love you more."
"Why can't I love you more?" She asked
"Because I fell in love with you first." He told her.
"Now how do you know that is true?" She snickered.
"Because I know." He chuckled she poked her.
She giggled and curled up against him. "Do you remember how we met?"
He held her tightly. "Yup. Middle school."
"No I mean like officially. When we started talking again." She looked at him.
"Oh yeah." He nodded. "The playground. How could I forget?"
She shrugged. "I had a black eye."
"And a handprint on your cheek." He said.
He kissed her cheek where the handprint was. "We were young. I thought I cough protect you from the world."
"You did." She looked at him. "You really did. You got me out of there."
"No matter what I did we still got hurt. Even our kids did." He muttered.
"What happened to our kids wasn't our fault. Well...it might be mine when it comes to Caroline. I'm pretty sure my uncle was Schizophrenic." She told him.
"It's all in the past. We've grown up and so have our kids.even Alexis has." He said.
"Alexis is still my baby to me. She graduated high school soon." She said
He nodded. "Soon she'll be married with kids of her own.."
"Do you think we should have had another kid after Alexis?" She asked.
"Back then maybe I wanted another. But I think four kids was enough. They were good." He said.
He kissed her head. "Did you want more kids?"
She shook her head. "Couldn't have anymore if I wanted to anyways."
He nodded. "Yeah. I wonder what all the kids are doing right now."
"They all have their own lives." She shrugged. "Oh I know Melody is gonna be on Saturday Night Live next week." She said.
"Oh really? Wow. That's great. Is she just the musical guest or is she hosting as well?" He asked.
"Wow. That will be fun." He muttered. "Maybe she could get us tickets for the show."
"I think we can get a free invite since we're family." She said
He nodded. "That would be fun. I know she'll do great."
He kissed her head. "What are we going to do after the movie?"
He nodded. "I hoped you'd say that." He yawned after her.
She laughed and kisses his cheek.
